PRECISION 3M CSD200 REGISTERED DEVICE

INSTALLATION CONFIDENTIAL of 19

1. Requests to install the biometric device, come through calls or mails from agents or CC team or Hermes Sales Team

Please check below points before installing (System requirement)

3MCSD 200 will support windows7, windows 8, windows 8.1 and windows 10. Version such

as windows XP or any other lower version will not be supported with the RD device. For 3MCSD 200 RD device, Dot net framework 4.0 is mandatory.

Hard disk: 500 MB free space.

Browser: Internet explorer 8 & above, Google chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Operamini.

STEP 1: Before installing the driver, make sure the system contains the following framework installed.

1. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile 2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended

Click control panel and view the installed updates.

Note: If Microsoft framework is not installed, Kindly install from following path (:\RD-3M

CSD200\dotnet framework 4.0) then start installing the setup.

STEP 2: If the frame work is installed then do the following steps.

1. Before starting the installation of RD Service, please make sure that the following condition

are met:

a. Unplug the biometric device from the system.

b. Uninstall the previous version of the RD Service. Go to “Run” prompt, type “appwiz.cpl” and

press enter, then Search for “PBRDService”, “PBManagementClient”, “Precision-CSD200” and

click “Uninstall” button to remove the package.

2. Install the driver from the path (:RD-3MCSD200\RD-3MCSD200 Setup\PrecisionRDServicev1.2.0 -

CSD200\PrecisionRDServicev1.2.0) and double click on the setup file as shown below:

3. Please close all running browsers & unplug the fingerprint scanner from the system and press

OK button to proceed the installation or click Cancel button to terminate the installation.

4. If the RD Service is already installed the following screen will appear:

a. Click OK button.

b. Click Close button, after uninstallation gets completed

5. Please close all running browsers & unplug the fingerprint scanner from the system. Right click “PBRDService.exe” and press OK button to proceed the installation otherwise click

Cancel button to cancel the installation.

STEP 3: On clicking next button, Popup displaying the license agreement will be displayed. Click on I

Agree button.

STEP 4: Once on clicking I Agree, on the next pop up wizard, select components to install and click next

button.

STEP 5:

The setup files will be installed in the default folder as shown below. Click on next button.

STEP 6:

Click next button to start the installation

Click on Finish button.

STEP 7: If the management client is already installed, the following screen will appear:

a. Click on ok button to remove the previous installation

b. Click Close button, after uninstallation gets completed

STEP 8: If the following message box appears, Click “Yes” to delete the old certificate

Click “Yes” to proceed

STEP 9:

On clicking next button a popup displaying the installation process will be displayed. After

successful installation of the device driver, a popup displaying to reboot the system will be

displayed

Click YES button.

After rebooting the system kindly Plug-in the device, check and run the sample program.

STARTEK (FM220) REGISTERED DEVICE INSTALLATION

Please check below points before installing

FM 220 will support windows7 or higher version. Version such as windows XP or any other

lower version will not be supported for RD device installation.

For FM 200 RD device, Dot net framework 4.0 is mandatory.

STEP 1: Before installing the driver, make sure the system contains the following framework installed.

Note: If Microsoft framework is not installed, Kindly install from following path (:\RD-STARTEK

FM220\dotnet framework 4.0) then start installing the setup.

STEP 2: If the frame work is installed then follow the below steps.

1. Please uninstall, if setup is already installed or setup is obsolete.


2. Unzip and Install the driver from given the path (: RD-STARTEK FM220\RD-STARTEK

FM220\RD-STARTEK FM220 Setup), Unzip the file SetupFM220_RD_Ver and double click on the

setup file as shown below:

STEP 3: On clicking the setup file welcome wizard will be displayed as below.

If setup is already registered, If the RD Service is already installed the following screen will appear:

Click on the OK button and uninstall the older set ACPL FM 220 RD Service.


STEP 4:

Install the driver from the path (:RD-STARTEK FM220\RD-STARTEK FM220\RD-STARTEK FM220 Setup) and double click on the setup file as shown below:


STEP 5: On clicking next button a popup displaying the Confirm Installation will be displayed.


STEP 6:

On the next screen the driver name FM220 SDK will be displayed. Click on next button.


and Click the Next button.

STEP 7: The installation will begin with the please wait indication- indicating the process of installation.

If you click cancel button installation will be terminated.


STEP 8: Once the setup file is completely installed, Installation completed message will be displayed. Click close button to exit.

STEP 9:


STEP 9: After successful installation of setup files, plug-in the Biometric device to the system.

Once the device is plugged in, device drive will be installed automatically. Click WIN+R command or select run option from start menu.

Type Services.msc and click ok button.

STEP 10:

Service window will open. Select the ACPL FM220 registered device and click on start service/

restart the service if the service is stopped.


STEP 11: If in Step 9 device driver installation is not successful, below popup message will be displayed.


STEP 12: To install the device driver (manually by using browse option) , Right click My Computer and click

Manage option as shown below

STEP 13: Under the System tools select Device Manager. Under Other devices option, FM-220 will be

displayed in uninstalled (Notification) status.


STEP 14: Right click on FM 220 and select Update Driver Software.

STEP 15: Select the search method as Manual search Browse my computer for driver software


STEP 16: Select the file path to where the driver software has to be installed by clicking on the browse

button. Click Next button.


STEP 17: Driver software will be installed as shown below:


STEP 18: Once the installation is completed, Driver software installed successfully message will be

displayed. Click on the close button.


STEP 19: The Startek FM220 Device installed and it will be removed automatically from the other devices

option and will be displayed under biometric device as shown below

If running in Firefox, Please refer the WINDOWS_RD_SERVICE_INSTALLATION_GUIDE document,

page 11 to configure Firefox .

Click the RD service Info button to get the device status.


Click on Capture for Auth button and place the finger on device to scan the fingerprint and details

If running in Internet Explorer, Please refer the WINDOWS_RD_SERVICE_INSTALLATION_GUIDE

document, page 13 to configure IE .

You can add your website into trusted web sites list to enable HTTPS.


After that, go to `Security` tab and click on `Trusted Sites`.

You can add your web site address from where you are going to call RD Service functionalities.


Please run the URL, http://acpl.in.net/fm220_entry/RD_Service_Call_HTTP.aspx to test Sample

program.


a. Click on RD Service Info button to get the status of device.

b. Click the Capture Foe Auth button and place the finger to the details.


Response Details are available in PID Data.

Some Failure case may occur due to unrelated services running. Make sure ACPL FM220 RD

Service is started and Stop other services.


USER MANUAL FOR

Mantra MFS 100 REGISTERED DEVICE INSTALLATION

Please check below points before installing MFS 100 will support windows7 or higher version. Version such as windows XP or any

other lower version will not be supported for RD device installation.

For MFS 100 RD device, Dot net framework 4.0 is mandatory.

STEP 1: Before installing the driver, make sure the system contains the following framework

installed. 1. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile

2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended


Note: If Microsoft framework is not installed, Kindly install from following path (:\RD-Mantra

MFS100\dotnet framework 4.0) then start installing the setup.

STEP 2: If the frame work is installed then follow the below steps.


2. Unzip and Install the driver from given the path (:\Mantara\RD-Mantra MFS100\RD-MFS100 Setup), Unzip the file Setup MantraRDService_windwos_mfs100and double click on the setup file as shown below:

STEP 3: On clicking the setup file welcome wizard will be displayed as below.

1. Start installation:

Right click on setup file and select “Run as administrator” from the path (:MFS100\RD-

MFS100 Setup\MantraRDService_windwos_mfs100\MFS100 Driver)

STEP 4:


STEP 5: On clicking next button a popup displaying Confirm the destination path will be displayed.

Click Install button to start the installation

STEP 6: On the next screen, confirm the installation and Click Install button.

STEP 7: Once the setup file is completely installed, Installation completed message will be displayed.

Click finish button to complete the installation.

STEP 8: Complete the installation of Mantra RDService, once the setup file is installed successfully as

shown below. Click on Install button.

STEP 9: Click the finish button to exit the setup.

STEP 10: After successful installation of setup files, plug-in the Biometric device to the system.

Once the device is plugged in, device drive will be installed automatically.

Click WIN+R command or select run option from start menu.

Type Services.msc and click ok button.

STEP 11: Service window will open. Select the Mantra AVDM and Mantra AVDM Helper registered

device and click on start service/ restart the service if the service is stopped.

STEP 12: Kindly Plug the Mantra MFS 100 device in installed machine.

STEP 13:

Please run the sample to test the device

MORPHO RD Service installation steps

Install RD Service:

Steps:

1. Open the Exe folder included with RD package

2. Right click on exe and run as administrator

1. Follow the instruction in setup wizard to complete the installation. MSO Device Driver Installation: After RD Service installation restart the system then Connect whitelisted Morpho biometric scanner to the system. After connecting the device to the system the device driver will be installed. .

3. If device driver not installed then follow the below steps: Right click on Computer and click on manage.

Now click on Device Manager and check Morpho Smart CBM driver under Universal Serial Bus Controllers

4. If the driver is present there with yellow warning sign then Right click on the device driver icon->click on Update Driver- > “Browse My Computer for Driver Software” -> Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer->Have Disk->Browse->go to “C:\Morpho\MorphoSmart USB Driver” and select ”usbBioDriver.inf”” in Driver search location and click on next for completion of manual driver installation and restart the machine for driver installation finalization. After restart it should show as below in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers in device manager:

5. If the device driver is not showing under Universal Serial Bus Controllers then please check under Other Devices there will be driver icon of Unknown Device.

Right click on the Unknown Device icon->click on Update Driver- > “Browse My Computer for Driver Software” -> Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer->Have Disk->Browse->go to “C:\Morpho\MorphoSmart USB Driver” and select ”usbBioDriver.inf”” in Driver search location and click on next for completion of manual driver installation and restart the machine for driver installation finalization. After restart it should show as below in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers in device manager: MSO Device Registration: 1.After device driver installation the device need to be registered.

Note: After successful device registration please restart Morpho RD Service to get update from Management Server. How to restart Morpho RD Service: Click on start and type services.msc in RUN window. Now in windows services go to MorphoRDService and restart it. And go to certificate folder in Morpho setup files

Copy both server files and move the files in C : coloumn MorphoRdServiceL0Soft

After that go to configSettings in MorphoRdServiceL0Soft

Change the ProxyConfig:0 and CommunicationMode:0

save the notepad and reboot Windows Installation process completed

Please check below points before installing PB510 will support windows7 or higher version. Version such as windows XP or any other

lower version will not be supported in RD device.

For PB510 RD device, Dot net framework 4.0 is mandatory.

STEP 1: Before installing the driver, make sure the system contains the following framework

installed. 3. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile

4. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended


Note: If Microsoft framework is not installed, Kindly install from following path (:\PB510\RD-

PB 510\dotnetframework 4.0\dotnet framework 4.0) then start installing the setup.

STEP 2: If the frame work is installed then do the following steps.


2. Install the driver from the path (:\PB510\RD-PB 510\dotnet framework 4.0) and double

click on the setup file as shown below(: \PB510\RD-PB 510\RD-PB 510 Setup\PB

510\Windows\Pre-Production or Production\PrecisionRDServicev1.1.2 (PB510)):

STEP 3: On clicking next button, Popup displaying the license agreement will be displayed. Click on I

Agree button.

STEP 4: Once on clicking I Agree, on the next pop up wizard, select components to install and click

next button.

STEP 5: The setup files will be installed in the default folder as shown below. Click on next button.

Click Yes Button, After Reboot the system kindly Plug the device, check the RD services and

run the sample program.

STEP 7:

IF the installation is not successful click on the Precision Biometric Service, Precision

Management client and Precision RD Device option as shown below under Manage option

from My Computer.

Please find the following steps:

Double click the below mention file and open in the browser from the path (:\PB510\RD-

PB510\RD-PB510Setup\PB

510\Windows\SampleApplication\WEB\PrecisionRDWebSample

Application\PrecisionRDSeviceClient.html).

Please check the services Precision Biometric service, Precision management service and

Precision RD Service are started and other services are stopped.

Click the Discovered device button to get the status of the device.

Click on capture device and place the fingerprint to get the information.

Response details are available in PID Data.

Biometric service, Precision management service and Precision RD Service are started and

Stop other services.

For Internet Explorer(Internet Explorer 8 and above will be supported, lower versions will not

support)

Kindly follow below steps:

Select Browser Setting>>Internet options>> Security Tab

Click on Custom Level button.

Make sure Access data sources across domains under miscellaneous tab is enabled. If not

enable the option.

Click Ok button.

a. Click the Discovered device button to get the status of the device.

b. Click on capture device and place the fingerprint to get the information.

c. Response details are available in PID Data.

In case of Firefox browser, RD Service cannot be connected through HTTPS. So, to enable HTTPS in Firefox

browser please follow below instructions.

Open Firefox browser and follow below instructions:

Go to Menu -> Options and Click on `Advanced` tab.

Please run the URL, https://icash.hermes-it.in

Click the RD service Info button to get the device status.

Click on Capture button and place the finger on device to scan the fingerprint details

A GUIDELINES FOR AGENTS AFTER INSTALLATION

Go to smart shop login page and login site https://agent.icashcard.in

After login the smart shop portal

Click on CONFIGURATION, It will shows list of Biometric device setup files

Follow the below steps and Red marked options:
