Always inspect component before erecting the tower

Always inspect the tower before use

Ensure that the tower is upright

Ensure castors are locked

Ensure the ballast is correctly in place

Ensure that tower is leveled by adjusting the adjustable leg

Ensure all the castor are firmly sited on the ground, of not in the hanging position

Ensure stabilizers are fitted as specified in the assemble procedure

Ensure platforms are correctly located

Ensure all handrails are in place

Ensure toe boards are correctly fitted as described in the assembly procedure

Ensure that the instruction guide has been read and understood by anyone using the equipment. If in doubt contact your supplier.

All components should be checked for damage. Do not use damaged or incompatible equipment. Make sure that you have the correct amount of components.

Ensure that the ground surface you are working on is firm and clear of obstructions

Be careful not to infringe on any local bylaws when erecting mobile towers in public places and that warning signs are in place where necessary by law.

Do not erect any tower where there is a risk of contact with unprotected cables, unguarded machinery, or harmful substances.

Safety Note Erecting the tower

Always take into account ground conditions. On soft ground a suitable base must be provided.

Ensure that the tower is level and vertical

Ensure stabilizers and ballast are fitted correctly when needed

Ensure the tower is not overloaded and that working loads are adhered to

Ensure the stabilizer are tightened securely

Ensure all castor wheels are firmly sited on the ground by tightening the adjustable legs after the stabilizers are fitted

Do not jump onto platforms

Towers used outdoors shall, whenever possible, be secured to a building or other structure

Tower shall only be moved manually and only on firm level ground which is free from obstacles. Normal walking speed shall not be exceeded during relocation.

For linking tower or special application, always consult your supplier.

It is not permissible to attach and use hoisting arrangement on towers unless specification provided by design.

Safety Note Before Moving the Tower

Do not attempt to move the tower with any leg extended more than 100mm

Never attempt to move the tower with men or materials on it. Lift up the stabilizer from the ground surface in order to push the tower. Do not remove stabilizer while pushing the tower.

Always be aware of any overhead hazards and make sure that the route to be taken is level and there are no holes or other obstructions.

Make sure all castor wheels’ brakes are in release position

Push manually and at the base only

Safety Note After Moving the Tower

Re-lock Castor wheels and ensure that the tower is both vertically and horizontal aligned

Reposition stabilizers and ensure they have safe footing

Where necessary, re-tie the towers to a rigid structure

Do not suspend mobile access towers without referring to your supplier

A tower must be kept in good working order. Any parts found to be faulty or missing should be immediately replaced.

Safety Note Dismantling the Tower

Keep to the instructions in this guide

Never throw down any equipments from the tower

Always lower equipment down to ground level by rope or hand

Always report damaged equipments. Equipments should be maintained in a serviceable condition.

Assembly Procedure(Step 1-11)

Step 1 Insert Adjustable Leg and Castor assembly into the bottom end of Normal and Ladder Side Frame

Step 2 •Clip the Horizontal Brace onto Normal Side Frame. Horizontal Brace are fitted upright from inside of the frame and not to the rung.

•Connect other end of brace onto Ladder Side Frame ensuring

ladder is on correct side to align with platform hatch.

Step 3 •Clip the Diagonal Brace to the rung and fitted opposite direction from each Diagonal Brace.

•Install one Platform on the third rung of frame as a Working Platform. Slide the second section of frames onto protruding spigots if needed to reach desired height.

•Ensure that the ladders run directly above each other making a continuous ladder run.

Step 4 •Fix Stabilizer and Ballast before height limit is exceeded

•Connect/Slot the frame onto protruding spigots to reach another height, ensure that the ladder run directly above each other to make a continuous ladder run

•Install one more Hatch Platform on the fourth rung of the frame

Step 6 •Clip the Diagonal Braces on frame as shown

•Ensure that separate frames are always braced together. Also always ensure stabilizers are fixed before height limit is exceeded.

•Shift the Fixed Platform at the same level as the Hatch Platform

•Clip the Horizontal Braces as shown, as a handrail for access platform.

Step 7 •Shift the Hatch Platform to the fourth rung of the top frame

•Ensure that the platform is positioning over the ladder and the hatch are open to the ladder side

Step 8 •Slide Top Side Frames onto the spigots at the top of the previously fixed section and repeat on opposite side

Step 9 •Pass another Fixed Platform and install beside the Hatch Platform

Step 10 •Clip the Diagonal Braces in opposing direction to lock top frame to the frame below

•Clip Horizontal Braces on the top frame as a handrail

•Ensure the Platform is positioning over the ladder

Step 11 •Fit the Toe Boards

•Ensure that the Toe Boards are fitted properly
