1. Introduction
The Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency, or commonly known as Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), is an agency set up by Bank Negara Malaysia in April 2006 to help individuals take control of their financial situation and gain peace of mind that comes from the wise use of credit
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to understand the screen flow of registration module and creating an ease for using the application in effective manner. Also this will help to understand each screen purpose and its usage.

2. Introduction to Registration
To access AKPK service, registration is the first step. System will request minimal registration
information from customer and activate account with few steps.
Once Registration details is submitted, activation link will be provided to given email which will
help customer to specify new password. User Id will same as customer Identification number,
For example NRIC, Passport, Army and police no.
2.1 Login Screen
After Entering to login screen, the following screen will be displayed

Following actions can be performed by customer
o New customer
Click on the “New user ? Register here”
o Existing User
Enter the User ID and password and click on Login
o Forgot password
Click on “Forgot password” and enter required information
o Select menu items
Register – To register a new customer
Login - To login existing customer
Contact Us – To see the contact details of AKPK branches
Help – To view the help file
2.1.1 New customer
To avail AKPK services, customer is required to register with AKPK. When customer clicks on
new user link or Register link at top menu following screen will appear.

Customer is required to key in all fields and agree the AKPK terms by selecting the Check box.

The activation link in customer email looks as below. If customer did not receive this mail, please look into your Spam or Junk mail folder of your email.

When customer clicks on the Link provided in an email, the following screen will be appear, customer
required to enter same customer ID which was mentioned during registration submission.

After clicking on submit, it will takes you following screen

Above screen is the successful action of AKPK customer portal account. After this customer can proceed to login screen for valid Customer ID and password.

2.2 Forgot password
If customer forgot password after activation at any point of time, customer can select Forgot
Password link and proceed to reset password.

After clicking on forgot password link, following screen will display, please proceed to key in your
account information as prompted. This to verify your account details with existing AKPK account.
Once all three information field matches, system will send reset password link to email.

After clicking on reset password link, it will take customer the same screens as 2.1.4 and 2.1.5
screens to set the password.

2.3 Login
When customer successfully created akpk customer portal account, customer can proceed to login in the system

Please key in valid Customer ID number and passoword and click on “Login”
System will navigate to „Customer Dashboard” page as follows

The above screen will display service list, if any exist. Else customer will proceed to enrol DMP
service by select menu item.

2.3.1 View Profile
Customer can click on View profile link at left hand side menu item to see profiling information

2.3.2 Update Profile
When customers want to edit profile information, click on Update profile menu item at left menu item.
Customer can change Contact number and Email address only.

2.3.3 Change password
When customer wants to Change password, please click on “Change Password” link at left side menu
item

3. FAQ
1. I cannot login into customer portal
a. Make sure you are already registered with application
b. Check your ID & password.
c. Check keyboard caps lock before entering password
2. Lost my password
a. Reset password using forgot password link or call customer service to reset your
password
3. What Should I do If I did not receive any email after submission of Registration
a. Please check your email Spam or Junk folders
b. Make sure you provided valid email address while registration, if it‟s wrong pleases
call AKPK customer care.
4. Is password need to be so complex, can I put simple password
a. Password should be in specified format as per security guidelines.
5. Browser is not showing application page
a. Check Internet explorer. It should be 9.0 or above
b. Check your browser setting, security should be medium
