Strategies to support assessment:• Use of traffic lights in planners• Mini whiteboards in planners• All students have a green pen – used for peer/self

assessment• Swap it over – teacher completes student response to

student’s self assessment• Student responses used as H/L to allow in depth

responses/redrafting

Results:• Consistent use of the stamp across all department areas • Better understanding of exam criteria by students• More effective planning based on robust assessment• Recent book review week saw an increase in:• Peer/Self review being used• WWW/EBI being used to good effect• Students closing the assessment loop• More use and correction of literacy
