“The MA program gave me a different
perspective of the world and my role
in it. My education transcended the classroom
walls with student peers from around the world
and world-renowned guest speakers through the Joan
B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice. Professors shared their
practical experiences in the field, providing a holistic understanding
of complex and culturally sensitive global issues and the most effective
practices. The program is exceptional and allowed me a
multidisciplinary education.”

Do you aspire to make a significant impact in the world?
Do you want to be an effective peacebuilder and Changemaker?
Do you believe that peace and justice are fundamental to the sustainability of communities and want to be part of the solution?
The Kroc School AdvantageTo be an effective agent of peace and justice, new perspectives and knowledge are not sufficient. We educate for transformative impact, which includes ample opportunities for practice and experimentation.
We empower students to
translate ideas into action
through:
• Applied peace-learning
methodology where students gain knowledge by participating in real-world projects and decision-making.
• Opportunities to connect with
top leaders in the field by
interacting with a dynamic
and diverse student population from a variety of countries,
by working with dedicated
faculty who practice what they
teach and by having access to
unique peacebuilding projects within our award-winning institutes: the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice and the Trans-Border Institute.
• Peace and Justice
entrepreneurship initiatives
offered through the Center
for Peace and Commerce in
partnership with the School
of Business Administration, which provides seed funding for student-designed social innovations.
