    Dear Sir or Madam,

    As a young alumnus of the University of South Carolina, I would like to express

    my great interest in applying for the open Alumni/Development Coordinator position.

    After carefully reading the job posting, I believe that my skills, experience, qualifications

    and my passion for the University make me a perfect fit for the position. Therefore, I amsubmitting my resume for your review and consideration. Please allow my to explain

    briefly the contribution I can make to the Alumni Association.

    Over the past two years, I have worked in a high-energy bank environment,

    beginning as a teller, followed by promotions to teller coordinator, floating customer

    service representative, and marketing ambassador for the bank. Through all of these new

    and challenging positions, I have learned skills that I feel would allow me to play an

    important role in your future successes. In my experiences, I have developed and

    demonstrated expertise in customer service, internal and external communication,

    business development, scheduling and organization of corporate events, fundraising,

    document preparation, data management, as well as many other critical skills.Furthermore, in my experience as administrative assistant to a real estate development

    firm based in Columbia, South Carolina, I have developed and managed relationships,

    from new business solicitation, to the facilitation of meetings, all the way through to the

    completion of projects, several of these transactions being with a Fortune 300 company

    client. Throughout all of these experiences, it has been clear to me that my true passion

    lies in bringing a beneficial strategic plan to a wide range of customers and developing

    meaningful relationships, passions that I feel can blossom into lasting professional

    success at the Alumni Association.

    I would bring to the Alumni Association not only these administrative and

    interpersonal skills and experience, but also unmatched dedication, a positive,

    cooperative attitude, and a willingness to finish any task needing completion. I believe

    that my work ethic coupled with my customer service skills would be a perfect fit for the

    opening, and that I would significantly contribute to future successes. My resume will

    detail the skills and background that I possess, and that I believe an organization of your
