JFK, MJ-12 and Outer Space

February 12, 2002 New York City, New York - This pastweek in Manhattan, I met with reporter and author Jim Marrs todiscuss U. S. government documents he was using for atelevision interview about MJ-12, also known as Majestic 12 orMajority 12. That Top Secret group of scientists, militaryofficers and businessmen was allegedly appointed by PresidentHarry S. Truman in 1947 to monitor and research the activity ofextraterrestrial biological entities on the earth whilesimultaneously manipulating misinformation to keep all facts andphysical evidence from the media and public "in the interest ofnational security." Jim's first book, Crossfire © 1989, was anational bestseller and used as a basis for Oliver Stone's featurefilm, JFK. Other books by Jim Marrs have included AlienAgenda © 1997 and Rule By Secrecy © 2000, each advancinginsights about the interaction of one or more non-humanintelligences with this planet since at least the Sumeriandomination of Mesopotamia (modern day Iran and Iraq).

Jim and I also talked about my experiences back in the early1980s after I had produced the television documentary AStrange Harvest for the CBS affiliate KMGH-TV in Denver,Colorado about the worldwide animal mutilation mystery linkedto alien life forms. I had been told by two different governmentintelligence agents in two different parts of the United States thatJohn F. Kennedy had been assassinated on November 22, 1963on orders of the CIA because after a long and tense period ofgrievances that included the controversial pull back of Americanair cover at the Bay of Pigs, JFK - based on some firsthandknowledge from his service as a U. S. Naval intelligence officer -had demanded access to all files and images concerning anextraterrestrial presence on earth.

Jim showed me the following documents which first emerged inthe MJ-12 research of Robert and Ryan Wood, father and son,who have been studying more than 2,000 alleged U. S.government documents from various sources since the early1990s. See their website at bottom of this report.

November 12, 1963 TOP SECRET Memorandum for CIA Director, from President John F. Kennedy.

This November 12, 1963 TOP SECRET Memorandum waswritten by President John F. Kennedy to the Director (blankedout), Central Intelligence Agency, eleven days before JFK wasshot in his head and killed while riding in a motorcade in Dallas,Texas on November 22, 1963.

The subject of the memorandum was: Classification review of allUFO intelligence files affecting National Security.

The body of the memorandum reads:

"As I had discussed with you previously, I haveinitiated (blacked out) and have instructed JamesWebb to develop a program with the Soviet Union injoint space and lunar exploration. It would be veryhelpful if you would have the high threat casesreviewed with the purpose of identification of bonafide as opposed to classified CIA and USAF sources.It is important that we make a clear distinctionbetween the knowns and unknowns in the event theSoviets try to mistake our extended cooperation as acover for intelligence gathering of their defence andspace programs.

When this data has been sorted out, I would like youto arrange a program of data sharing with NASAwhere Unknowns are a factor. This will help NASAmission directors in their defensive responsibilities.

I would like an interim report on the data review nolater than February 1, 1964.

Editor's Note: James Jesus Angleton was put in charge of theOffice of Strategic Services (O.S.S.) Special CounterintelligenceUnit Z in 1944. Ten years later in 1954, Angleton was promotedto Deputy Director and Chief of Counterintelligence for theCentral Intelligence Agency where he worked for twenty years.

Written on White House stationery and dated the same day asthe TOP SECRET Memorandum written by President John F.Kennedy to the CIA Director about "Classification review of allUFO intelligence files affecting National Security," this secondmemo to NASA about "Cooperation with the USSR on OuterSpace Matters" reads as follows:

"I would like you to assume personally the initiativeand central responsibility within the Government forthe development of a program of substantivecooperation with the Soviet Union in the field ofouter space, including the development of specifictechnical proposals. I assume that you will workclosely with the Department of State and otheragencies as appropriate.

"These proposals should be developed with a view totheir possible discussion with the Soviet Union as adirect outcome of my September 20 proposal forbroader cooperation between the United States andthe USSR in outer space, including cooperation inlunar landing programs. All proposals or suggestionsoriginating within the Government relating to thisgeneral subject will be referred to you for yourconsideration and evaluation.

"In addition to developing substantive proposals, Iexpect that you will assist the Secretary of State inexploring problems of procedure and timingconnected with holding discussions with the Soviet



Union and in proposing for my consideration thechannels which would be most desirable from ourpoint of view. In this connection the channel ofcontact developed by Dr. Dryden between NASAand the Soviet Academy of Sciences has been quiteeffective, and I believe that we should continue toutilize it as appropriate as a means of continuing thedialogue between the scientists of both countries.

I would like an interim report on the progress of ourplanning by December 15."

Nearly thirty years later after President Kennedy wasassassinated, many alleged government documents about MJ-12,retrievals of crashed aerial vehicles, technology andextraterrestrial biological entities have surfaced from a variety ofknown and unknown sources. One unsigned document dated

"The metered release of information to the publicthrough various unofficial channels continues togenerate much interest and an increasing level ofawareness, with little if any observable side-effects,other than healthy skepticism on the part of somepeople.

We would like to suggest continuing the presentapproach, as it is making information available tothose who are psychologically ready for it, withoutcausing stress on those who are not ready.

The present approach is also proving helpful to thosewho are having first-hand encounters. It is providingthem with a context in which to put experiences theycannot otherwise explain or understand. Having someconception of this phenomenon is an enormouspsychological relief to these people - and helps themget on with their lives, as best as possible. Providinginformation which helps people to cope will becomeincreasingly important as the percentage of thepopulation having these encounters continues to rise.Some assistance in this area can be expected byvarious civilian support groups, which have beenformed by interested parties.

Over time, it may be appropriate to increase theaccuracy and the consistency of information incirculation. Possibly, as the public gets morecomfortable with IAC sightings (Identified AerialCraft and/or Identified Alien Craft) and 'crop circles,'additional types of information can be released. Itappears most of the research community is runningone to two years or more ahead of the mainstreammedia. this gives some timeframe for possibledisclosures to the general public - while providingadvance details to those who are ready for it now.Having a certain number of informed citizens couldwell prove to be an invaluable resource in the face of



unpredictable future events. Indeed, history mayrecord that it was these aware people who set asidetheir differences and worked together most to helphumanity, their country and their government in thechanging times and challenges ahead."
