Honesty and integrity !

Over the past two weeks I have caught or highly suspect individual in every class of not being honest.

• Homework is individual work!– Checking your work against someone else is

cheating.– “Working together” is cheating.

• Looking at someone else’s paper is cheating.• Obtaining teacher’s material is cheating.

Cheating:• Definition of PLAGIARIZE• transitive verb• : to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own :

use (another's production) without crediting the source • Plagiarism: The Act of passing off as one’s own the ideas or writings

of another is called plagiarism. There are different levels of plagiarism. For example, failing to identify the source of a quotation or other information is perhaps a less serious offense than taking credit for an entire piece of writing done by someone else. Students are taught about plagiarism in their language arts classes. Consequences for submitting plagiarized work will be determined by the teacher. In All cases, the student will not receive credit for the assignment and may be asked to do the assignment again.
