• United States History (Grade 8) is a survey course that begins with the growth of the thirteen colonies and continues through the Civil War and Reconstruction. The basis for this course is the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum. This course prepares students to complete United States History, Part II. The course will also address current events and issues.
