PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTSHAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS

CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed, absorbed through the skin, or inhaled. Causes moderate eyeirritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wear protective eyewear (goggles or faceshield) and rubber gloves. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating,drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

Commercial and industrial uses: This pesticide is toxic to fish. Do not discharge effluentcontaining this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans, or other waters unless inaccordance with the requirements of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not dischargeeffluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewagetreatment plant authority. For guidance, contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of theEPA. :V

De-activation may be required during clean up if a spill occurs. De-activation of Bio-Protect AM50can be achieved by the addition of anionic surfactant (such as soap, sulfonates, sulfates) in quantityequivalent to that of Bio-Protect AM50.

Residential use: This pesticide is toxic to fish. Do riot apply directly to water. Do not contaminatewater by cleaning of equipment or disposal of pesticide.

AM-50 can be applied to organic or inorganic substrates by brushing, dipping, padding, soaking,spraying, fogging, or by using foam finishing techniques.

Dry substrates at temperatures from ambient to a maximum of 160° C (320° F) to effect completec

condensation of silanol groups and to remove water, solvents and/or traces of mgtb,a.nQl from c ̂ ;;hydrolysis. Optimum application and drying conditions, such as time and tempelature^ should bedetermined for each application before use. AM-50 when used as a concrete additive is added directly concrete preparation. Use 60 fluid ouncesper cubic feet of concrete. Addition of AM-50 reduces deterioration of sewer pipes and manjbqle&byinhibiting microbiologically induced corrosion.

Remove item and wring excess liquidfrom treated item: For larger items (e.g. bedspreads, curtains,draperies), place in washing machine on spin cycle to aid inthe removal of excess liquid. Test staining and color-fastnessof fabric and carpets by treating and drying a smallconcealed area prior to application. Do not reuse solutionafter dipping/soaking. Dry treated articles before use.Substrates can be hang-dried at room temperature or attemperatures to a maximum of 160°C (320°F); (for example,in a clothes dryer). If necessary, reapply AM-50 every threemonths or when odor, staining and discoloration due tobacteria, mold stains, and mildew stains return.

Apply and then let standuntil dry. Test staining and color-fastness of carpets bytreating and drying a small concealed area prior toapplication. AM-50 treats approximately 200 square feet pergallon (50 square feet per squart). When treating coarsersubstrates (e.g., wool carpeting), more AM-50 may berequired due to absorption. Dry carpet areas and surfacesbefore re-entry. A fan may be used to assist in dryingcarpeting. Remove children and pets from treated area untilcompletely dried. If necessary, reapply AM-50 every threemonths or when odor, staining and discoloration due tobacteria, mold stains, and mildew stains return.

Harmful if swallowed, absorbed through the skin, or inhaled. Causes moderate eye irritation.Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

Commercial and industrial uses: This pesticide js toxic to fish. Do not discharge effluentcontaining this product into lakes, streams, ponds,estuaries, oceans, or other waters unless inaccordance with the requirements of a National Pollutant DischargeElimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writingprior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems withoutpreviously notifying the local sewage treatment plar&authority. For guidance, contact yourState Water Board or Regional Office of the EPA. T

De-activation may be required during clean up if a spill occurs. De-activation of Black can beachieved by the addition of anionic surfactant (such as soap, suifonates, sulfates) in quantityequivalent to that of Black. •*

For Pump Spray Application: Using pump sprayer, spray entire area 4"-6"s from the surfacemaking sure the surface is completely covered. The substrate can be dried at room temperature or at temperatures to a maximum of 160° C(320°F), for example in a clothes dryer. Remove excess liquid before attempting to dry in aclothes dryer. If necessary, reapply BLACK every three months or when odor, staining anddiscoloration due to bacteria, mold stains, and mildew stains return.
