GENERAL INFORMATION Acclaim lEe Herbicide is an emulsifiable concentrate (Ee) formutetion containing one pound of ac.1Ne ingredient per gallon. Acclaim lEe Herbicide is used for posternergence control 01 annual and perennial grassy weeds in established turfgrass and ornamental species. Acclaim lEe Herbicide does not control broadleaf weeds or sedges. Acclaim lee Herbicide is abSorbed through the foliage. Thorough coverage is important. Visual injury on the grassy weed is evident approximately 4-10 days after application (dependent upon environmental conditions) but control of the grassy weeds will take 12-21 days. Visible effects begin as a general chlOIOSiS (yellowing) and/or reddening of the leaf surface followed by death 01 the weed.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE It is a violalion of Federal law to use Inis prOduct in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

3. Acclaim tEC Ijerbicide "'la~,~:ppplied at no more than to n. oz.lacre on Kentucky bluegrass seec!li'lgs t"'at have tfllered and have been emerged for over one month. Temporary discoloration and stunting of bluegrass seedlings may occur at this timing. Seedlings will recover, however; and the final bluegrass stand will be improved due to reduced competition from the annual grassy weeds. Annual grassy weeds must be un­liIIered at the time of applICation lor adequate control. Do nol reapply Acclaim tEC Herbicide to previously treated seedling Kentucky bluegrass for at least two months. When utilizing Acclaim tEC HerbiCide at rates higher than to II. o .. .Iacre, Kentucky bluegrass seedlings must be at least three growing months old. DO NOT apply Ac­claim t EC Herbicide to seedling fine-leaf fescue, tall fescue, or perennial ryegrass less than 4 weeks old.

4. Broadleaf herbicides such as 2,4-0 or MCP may reduce the effectiveness of Acclaim tEC Herbicide. Tank mixes with 2,4-0 or MCP containing herbicides are most effective on untillered crabgrass. Avoid tank mixing Acclaim tEe Herbicide with 2,4-0 or MCP conlaining herbicides after crabgrass has tillered.

5. Acclaim tEC Herbicide is a selective grassy weed herbicide and has little or no activity on broad leaf plants and sedges.

6. Acclaim tEC Herbicide may be applied to newly plugged zoysiagrass. Fescues lind ryegrass may be overseeded immediately follOWing Acclaim tEC Herbicide applica­lions. All olher 11'1 species should be OV8l11eeded after a 2t-day waiting period.

7. DO NOT APPLY this product through any type of irrigation system.
