Valuing Student Voice Give us as STUDENTS a say in how the school is run,

allowing us to put our mark on school policies as

most of them effect us.

If student ideas are acted upon is gives us a lot

more incentive to participate.

Strengthens relationships between school and

home

Allows us to be involved in projects, that we can

then put on our CV

Make connections with the wider community

For Example: Extend the Biogas Project - Incorporate cattle yard waste, canteen and home Ec. Scraps.

- Burn the methane produced in a flarer, to convert to CO2 which is 20 times less damaging.

- EVENTUALLY – use methane to power the piggery and aquaculture tanks

Encourage new students to be involved in

presence and place within the school
