second buddha, the Lord of Uddiyana, the great embodiment of the knowledge, loving–kindness and capacity of

all buddhas throughout space and time, the Guide of Fortunate in his various expressions, here are the

stages of his means of attainment in the form of a preliminary phase, main section and conclusion.

The introductory section itself has five parts, the first of which is to lay out nectar, rakta, tormas,
