This brochure showcases how we can lead our neighbouring community towards new develop-ments and innovations and create a new trend in the city, if we work with the strongest under-

UP Visakhapatnam is a Local Community of UP Global, headquartered at Seattle, US, an organization committed to empower the new global generation to successfully en-terprise upon their possibly million-dollar ideas. It is a non-profit organization registered under section 501 c(3) of US tax laws and is completely dedicated to serve the so-ciety by bringing out its best innovations in a stream-lined, impactful way.
Celebrating and cheering the strength of the budding en-terprising community, we hereby express our desire to pi-oneer the foundation of a consolidated platform in collab-oration with your institution and industries around the city, so as to facilitate a collaborative and mutual-benefit oriented growth of every individual who aspires to start his own enterprise. At the end of everything, the collabo-ration wil earn the credit of a tremendous development.
Entrepreneurship is all about bringing knowledge and practicality together for solving a massive social or eco-nomic problem, and therefore enterprising upon it. Today almost every business in the world, small or big is dependent either completely or substantially upon tech-nology, and even if there is a new technology it requires a management to make that technology reach impactfully to the market that benefits both the market and the one who owns every element of the technology’s idea, and therefore it is necessary that the entrepreneur, the bank of the knowledge and the pool of the required talent come together. We have identified this necessity of net-working and have structured the growth of the communi-ty accordingly.
Structure of any UP Communi-ty
Every community under the UPCommunity tagline functions in a decentralized structure according to the requirement of the community. A university com-prises of a knowledge pool, potential to establish a de-velopment facility and space where co-founders can interact and develop their enterprises together within the realm of a healthy competition, and there-fore a university can be the single place to be consid-ered as the centre or capital of the growing ecosys-tem. UPComunity functions in a collaborative structure, with universities, investors, industrial experts and successful entrepreneurs. Every collaborating univer-sity gets its own entrepreneurship cell as a member of this community, without any prejudice to its own independent existence. The comunity exists with a festive frivolity, with events/campaigns/programmes every month, which educate and engage the commu-every month, which educate and engage the commu-nity productively.
REQUIREMENTS FROM YOUR COL-LEGE/UNIVERSITY
- An identified, separate space exclusively estab-lished for the purpose of supporting entrepreneur-ship.
- Allowing conduction of UP Community and its local, national and global collaborators’ events and programmes within your premises.
- Assisting the Entrepreneurship Cell team of your college by providing them regulated freedom to op-erate in the cell in stipulated hours.
- Supporting promotion of events and programmes through all possible channels of promotions in your college.
HOW DOES YOUR INSTITUTION BENE-FIT FROM THIS COLLABORATION:
- Establishment of a dedicated Entrepreneurship Development Cell in your premises would mean as-piring entrepreneurs of your college can connect more to your college, utilize its resources and grow.
- Establishment of a technical and business re-search facility supported by national and global col-laborators.
- Direct partnership in projects led by a community supported by Google for Entrepreneurs.

OUR GLOBAL PARTNERS:
The United Nations has declared this decade as “Decade of Sustainable Energy” (2014 - 2024), under which it has sought to collaborate with nations, and organizations to drive several initiatives under this declaration. UP Global has partnered with the UN Foundation under the Clean Energy Minigrids High-Impact Opportunity Scheme, under which it seeks to develop energy entrepreneurship and energy education worldwide. UP Visakhapatnam and energy education worldwide. UP Visakhapatnam champions this initiative in Visakhapatnam and nearby regions and wishes to develop rural landscape of the region within this decade.
