Why choose UQ?
two years in Malaysia and then complete my nal year in
Australia.
“The lecturers and tutors at UQ are very professional and
approachable. The main campus is great with advanced and
useful facilities. Not only are the students here smart and
diligent, they are also very friendly and helpful.
“The Bachelor of Information Technology program at UQ is a
good combination of theory and practice, and covers differ-
ent aspects of computer science, software engineering and
project management.
“As an IT student, I nd myself using the computer labs
and online services such as myNewsgroups, eLearning and
course webpages on a regular basis. These are the most
useful facilities for me because I often need access to a
powerful computer at school and also information related to
my courses.
“Despite being a non-Christian, I am actively involved in
Campus Christian Movement Brisbane. I am also a member
of the UQ Malaysian Student Association. I usually play bas-
ketball and Frisbee with my friends in the campus. Through
these activities, I have made many friends from different
parts of the world and from different academic and career
backgrounds.”
