HELP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE STUDENTS EXCEL AT UQ During Semester 2, 2010, 158 students from HELP University College studied at The University of Queensland (UQ). Many of these students achieved exemplary results and 16 received the distinguished honour of a Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement, receiving an overall semester Grade Point Average of 6.00 (out of 7.00) or higher . Not only are the students here smart and diligent, they are also very friendly and helpful. “The Bachelor of Information Techno logy program at UQ is a good combination of theory and practice, and covers differ- ent aspects of computer science, software engineering and project management. “As an IT student, I nd myself using the computer labs and online services such as myNewsgroups, eLearning and course webpages on a regular basis. These are the most useful facilities for me because I often need access to a powerful computer at school and also information related to my courses. “Despite being a non-Christian, I am actively involved in Campus Christian Movement Brisbane. I am also a member of the UQ Malaysian Student Association. I usually play bas- ketball and Frisbee with my friends in the campus.
