CCIG offers training by request to interested organizations that want to learn more about the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process and Civil Society’s opportunities for participation. If you or your organization is interested in participating in a training session on the UPR, please contact CCIG. International Catholic Center of Geneva The UPR Platform is a space for dialogue and discussion between NGOs working with the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). This platform, launched by CCIG, aims to promote the joint work of NGOs through providing them with practical tools and logistical support to improve their contribution within the frame of this specific mechanism established by the UN Human Rights Council (HRC). The UPR, as conceived by the HRC, recognizes the significant role of NGOs in monitoring commitments made by Member States during the review. Each cycle occurs every four and a half years.
