Trekking Overview

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival at the international airport in Kathmandu (1,345m). Overnight at a hotel.

Day 02 - Pre-trip meeting and sightseeing in and around Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 03 - Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 04 - Flight to Jomsom from Pokhara. Trek to Kagbeni. Overnight at tented camps.

Day 05 - Trek to Chaile. Overnight at tented camps.

Day 06 - Trek to Geling. Overnight at tented camps.

Day 07 - Trek to Charang (3,620m). Overnight at tented camps.

Day 08 - Trek to Lo Manthang . Overnight at tented camps.

Day 09 - Visit Namgyal Gompa and Tingkhar. Overnight at tented camps.

Day 10 - Trek to Dhi (3,410m). Overnight at tented camps.

Day 11 - Trek to Tange (3,370m). Overnight at tented camps.

Day 12 - Trek to Tetang / Chusang (3,022m). Overnight at tented camps.

Day 13 - Trek to Jomsom. Overnight at tented camps.

Day 14 - A 30-minute flight back to Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 15 - Leisure day and sightseeing in and around Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 16 - Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight at a

hotel.

Day 17 - Transfer to the international airport in Kathmandu for your final departure.

Typical trekking day while we are in trekking our day starts with warm wake up tea/coffee. After refreshing ourselves, we

pack our luggage and proceed for the breakfast. As day sets off, considering the altitude and

acclimatization, we walk slowly towards our next destination. The group will be guided and accompanied

by our trained government licensed guide. Throughout the day, we will take frequent rest breaks to take

photographs, treasure the landscape, confront the culture and admire the fascinating mountains and

sceneries. A 1 to 2 hour relaxing lunch break is usually taken except when crossing the passes. After the

lunch break, we will at least spend 2 to 3 hours more on the trail before reaching the next lodge. Before

the dinner, we might enjoy a short walk through the local village, photographing etc. After the dinner,

you will be briefed for the next day program.

Accommodation and Meal Accommodation in Kathmandu: you will stay at a high standard or equivalent standard hotel, including

breakfast, on a sharing basis. During the arrival and departure periods in Kathmandu, you can go for

dinners to the best restaurants of the city with the different authentic cuisine.

Accommodation during Trekking: you will stay in the stander mountain lodges as per defined itinerary

destination. Please be aware that single rooms are not available. Though there are blankets available at

the lodges, we recommend bringing your own sleeping bag. In most of the lodges, you can enjoy

continental, Italian, Tibetan and local cuisines except while crossing the passes. Our day will start with

warm wake up tea or coffee and followed by breakfast, lunch and dinner. Upon arrival in the lodges at

the end of the day, some tea/coffee with cookies are served. The entire beverages during trekking

likewise wine, juices, beer, Coca, mineral water etc is paid by the client her/himself.

Insurance While traveling in the Himalaya you may suffer for the various health problems, injuries and even the

altitude sickness. Hence you have to prepare before upcoming destination is this mountain land. Make

sure that the policy of the insurance company should cover the process of giving you the service of

Helicopter rescue from the mountains in case of Altitude Sickness or other accidents during your trip.
