J2E is a fantastic tool for creating, sharing and learning. Tasks done using one of the many J2E tools are saved and located in pupils’ own individual storage space named My Files – All evidence and work in My Files is easily shared and found by the class teacher. It is also very easy to share other work such as models, sculptures, posters or even work that has been handwritten in a book or on paper, by taking a picture of it and uploading to J2E. Below is a guide on how to upload and save a picture of work on J2E. Please note – any work and/or pictures that are saved on j2e are secure – the work stays within j2e and HWB. Please DO NOT include any pictures of children, only their work. How to upload and save a picture using iPad 1. J2E have a dedicated app for iPad which makes uploading evidence easier – to get the app go to the app store and search for J2Launch 2. Once installed, open the app and sign in to your HWB account by selecting the HWB button. 3. Once signed in, the main menu will load – from here you can open and use any of the J2E tools – all work will be saved to My Files, however, remember J2E does not automatically save so you must press the Save icon. The advantage of having this app is that it provides you with a tool bar (pictured below) 4. The toolbar provides many shortcuts and additional options. To upload a picture or screenshot of work, select the first icon which is a picture of a folder. The following screen, pictured below, will appear. 5. Select Camera Roll and then select the picture/screenshot of the work that you want to upload and save to J2E. Once you have selected the picture/screenshot then select Add To Files – This will upload and save the picture to their storage area called My Files Other Tablet users

If you do not have access to the app then go to HWB, log in and navigate to Just2Easy though an internet browser then select My Files and then Upload Files (Pictured below). After that, follow step 5. How to upload using a computer/laptop/Chromebook This option will work providing that you have a picture or screenshot of the work, on your computer. 1. Go to HWB https://hwb.gov.wales/ and Log In. 2. Click the Menu Waffle and select Just2easy 3. In the J2e menu, click the 3. The main menu will show up – select My Files to open their individual storage space. With My Files open, you can now drag and drop picture files from your computer, to My Files, which will automatically upload and save.
