1. Gather information about UPE orderCollect the details of the UPE order from ANDs email/NOVA system/etc..Gather the information and keep it in the master list/excel file.

2. NIS Update Login to NIS Clarity System

a. Create Locations & Sites Go to Inventory Tab and click Location/Sites

Input the details similar as the master list. Then SAVE.

b. Create Circuit Design Click inventory and go to circuits and then click to circuit designMain/Protect

Input the details and ensure the information is correct. Click SAVE.

Once saved, copy the NIS BEARER ID for future use in Granite.

3. Granite Update Login to Granite Inventory

a. Reservation

Click resources > Reservation Input service ID in field Name Click begin research Double click result

i. Containers Double click result Go to interface for update device ID and loopback ip. Also change the status to in service. After change the details click SAVE

a. Containers & Shelves Double click the result Go to interface for update device ID and loopback ip. Also change the status to in service. After change the details click SAVE The step same with containers

b. Slot/card Select all port > flash > status Change the status to AVAILABLE Find the port need to in service such as G 0/25 or G0/26 Highlight the port and go to flash > status Change the status INSERVICE And then SAVESAVE

Highlight all and port need to inservice Flash

ii. Port Check primary and secondary port Click to TM PORT Click modified and go to lag ID and serial IP Check lad ID and serial IP Change the status to INSERVICEPut the lad ID 1 or 2Change the status

iii. Paths Double click result Go to the TM PORT > Lag ID > Serial IP Change lag ID and serial IP Change the status to the INSERVICE TM BEARER ATTRIBUTE put the (NIS BEARER ID) NIS BEARER ID

b. Physical GroupResources > Physical Group Input Group ID in the field name Click begin research Double click result Go to the TM PORT > Lag ID > Serial IPInput group ID
