How to Install X6
• Do Not copy the following files from old versions:
-Config File-Toolbars-Key Mapping File
Take the few minutes to go thru this in the new release
What Not to do when Updating
Migration Utility • Migration Utility
• The Migration Utility is for Updating from X5 to X6
[If you have your files in the default locations] Otherwise you will need to use the manual methods shown later-

• Machine Definition MUST have the correct version Control Definition Mapped

• Click the Icon shown below to access the Control Definition Selected

• Now we are in the Control Definition• Here we will select the Post Processor Button to
link the correct post

• Add Files will allow you to select the correct version and location of the post
• Select the green check when done
Select and delete any other post

• Select the post in the drop down• Then you will need to click on the single purple
SAVE icon• You can then Click ALL green checks out and
answer YES to everything that pops up
