Breeding Guarantee:All bulls are guaranteed to be structurally sound and to have passed a semen test prior to sale day. This health check is done by Westlock Veterinary Clinic. The bulls, if failing to be satisfactory breeders, will be replaced or credit given on purchase of a replacement.

Routine vaccinations have been administered as well as Footrot and Pinkeye vaccine. These bulls are ready to go to work.

For 34 years we have been seeking out and purchasing proven genetics. We stay away from fads and unproven genetics. Our cow herd shows the results of that kind of management. We raise our bulls on a high fibre, high roughage, high protein diet to maximize muscle development and growth and maintain a healthy rumen. Our pens are large so you can walk out the bulls and see their feet.

Our sale will be technically up to date with DLMS online services, a facebook page, our own Lone Stone website and Transcon’s website but our val-ues are old fashioned and time tested. Our bulls sell in their entirety. We do not retain any part of any bull and there are no sale credits to bid against.

Welcome to the annual Lone Stone Farms Simmental and Red Angus Bull Sale, held in one of the most family friendly sale facilities in Canada. Lonnie& Karen along with Nathan & Alisha are the work force in this true family farming operation. This family has a true passion for agriculture, with both family’s only income being provided by the farm. This is one of the most positive and upbeat operations in the industry, whether they are calving the 300 cows or harvesting the nearly 2000 acres.

This year’s offering is led by one of the strongest set of Simmental and Red Angus 2 year olds ever offered at this sale. These 2 year old virgin bulls spend the summer out on grass and the winter in a large pen. They are not pampered! Each breed will have calving ease and performance bulls available. Again this year you will find a strong set of polled Fleckvieh bulls to choose from. You will wear out a set of tires on your car to find a better set of performance Red Angus bulls. Both breeds will have large sire groups from the Lone Stone herdbull battery. The bulls are raised for longevity and there will be no retained ownership!

The Poteet cowline, which we purchased at the Geis dispersal, is one of my favorites. This big guy is a grandson of the original Poteet cow.
