El Camino Community College Compton Center 02/2009-05/2012 FYE PROGRAM (FIRST YEAR EXPERIENCE) • Translated FYE program criteria (English to Spanish) to parents whom did not speak English. • Organized group discussions on the transitional processes of attending a community college. • Lead community service activities that included mentoring younger students and giving PowerPoint presentations about the FYE program and its beneficial properties.
