The Check In Program• Program is available at:

– http://discoring.texasdi.org/ (Bottom of Web page)

• Install the Check In program by running the downloaded executable file.

– You must install the scoring program also to get the Java executable set up in the correct directory.

• The Check In program uses the same .csv file as the Scoring Program.

– Alternately, you can export a .csv from the Scoring program to load into the Check In program (FileExport in Scoring program)

Field Mapping for Check In

• Open the program, and select the input .csv file (use FileOpen if needed)

• Team Number, Level and Challenge are the only required fields.

– but times make things much nicer.

2. Hit Ctrl-y to mark Yellow (In room)3. Hit Esc to clear the search and start on next packet

Program tracks change times for all packets

FileSave saves the present tournament status in the .csv file that was opened.

We prefer to use one laptop for IC and another for TC. If you use just one, make sure you select the correct tab (bottom of screen) when checking in a packet!
