Neuroscience, Ageing and Dementia Our research seeks to understand the dynamic interplay of biological processes & social factors that influence brain functioning & quality of life. We are leading cutting-edge advances in the application of technology (e.g., virtual reality, telehealth and social robotics) to the assessment & management of people with neurological disorders. Core research themes include: • The social brain (investigations of brain processes (e.g., language and social cognition) through to societal participation, including family and social networks) • Changes in brain functioning across the lifespan• Enhancing functioning and well-being of people living with neurological disorders; and• Clinical practice and health care (engaging key stakeholders and end-users in the design, piloting and evaluation of new interventions and care packages)
