We wish you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

As the year draws to a close I would like to extend our sincere appreciation

to all of our OVPS students and families. It has been a very rewarding year

here at OVPS, due in large part to the support from our community. We

wish all of you a safe, happy and fulfilling Christmas break and look

forward to working with you in 2016.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for updates on our school app over the

holidays. Information about clothing pool opening times will be coming out

in the holidays, as well as other updates about improvements happening

THE P&C THANKs YOU! Well if you didn't make it to Friday's Rainbow Run & Fun Fair, you missed an awesome

time! The Oxley Vale P&C would like to thank the 175 people that participated in the Rainbow Run and all of those that came to watch. We would also like to thank the volunteers that helped on the night and the students and staff that organised

stalls and activities. I am pleased to announce that over $3500 was raised, an

improvement on last year as was the attendance!

“With Heart Foundation” THANK YOU

EALD (English as an Additional Language / Dialect) Excursion On Wednesday 9th December Jai, Atem, Kuir, Ashley and I went on an excursion to lunch at J & L Family Restaurant. Kuir and Atem are new to our school and have been learning how to speak English. Kuir did not really like the jelly but Atem kept on going back for more. Next we went to Level Up Bowling. The girls played in lane two and us boys played in lane one. After bowling we played air hockey and basketball. It was nice to see them having fun! Liam Browning 3/4E

I went to the bowling I go and play with my friends Ashley I like when I eat some food, jelly, ice cream and chips and chicken. The ball so big. I play bowling with Ashley and Kuir win. When I play bowling I play some car with Atem when I go I not go in my shoes I go in different shoes. When I want to go Mr Magill said where’s your shoes I forgot off I take off those shoes and I put my shoes Ms Sarungallo come and take picture next to the Christmas tree. I like go in the car and Mr Magill and Ms Sarungallo said in your song I sing Africa song I’m happy so happy to sing. I have a good time. By Kuir Atuich Year 5/6S
