3/4 Lyrebirds

2 Magpies 2M Magpies have been learning in Mathematics how to create their own graphs and interpret information from the graphs. We played a game called “We’re Going on a Shape Hunt”. Each player had to roll the dice and move their counter the corresponding number of squares on the game board. Students then recorded the shape on the graph. Play continued till all students had reached the finish line. Once play had finished students then answered questions about the shapes that had been “hunted” during the game.

In 3-4 Lyrebirds this Term, we have been learning things about each other to create a learning environment that celebrates each other’s unique attributes and their culture.

The program is able to cater for 30 students per day and students who are unsteady on bikes or unable to ride a bike are also welcome to attend.
