Upbeat, Not UptightThese ain’t your mama’s childbirth classes! Learning about babies and birth should be fun and engaging. We think if you enjoy coming to class, you will learn more and feel prepared for the challenges ahead of you. In addition, whatever your situation is, we want you to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. Most of the moms who attend our classes are under 25, and many of them are unmarried. Many women come with the dad-to-be; others come with family members or friends. Rest assured that we respect everyone equally.

Healthy Pregnancy WorkshopsLearn to eat right and take care of yourself and your baby both during and after your pregnancy. Our L.E.A.N. workshops (short for Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition) take a balanced approach to health and show you easy ways to feel great and stay healthy through pregnancy and beyond.

Prepare RIGHT NowThis workshop focuses on healthy (and fun!) exercise for pregnancy, ways to maintain a positive attitude, and what is and is not safe for you and your growing baby.

Eat RIGHT NowA class loaded with tips to help you create a simple, satisfying plan for eating for two while you are pregnant, while keeping your weight under control.

Live RIGHT NowA workshop that focuses on smoothing your transition into parenthood with ways to make caring for a newborn easier and a plan for taking care of yourself after your baby is born.

Once baby is born......the support doesn’t stop!Our new Moms Group meets weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm. This is a great way to find support as a mom and develop friendships with other women who are in the same phase of life. This group hosts guest speakers on a variety of helpful topics (from nutrition to parenting survival skills to baby games), as well as offering plenty of time to chat, make new friends, and support each other. Babies are always welcome!

Expecting Another MiracleFor parents expecting another child, our two-week class refreshes your birth knowledge and skills and prepares you for welcoming baby #2 (or 3, 4, 5...) into your family.

Parenting is the toughest job you will ever love and you shouldn’t have to go it alone! In our classes, you will find lots of women just like you, which is a great opportunity to form new fr iendships. Your teachers are dedicated to answering your questions and calming your fears or simply lending a sympathetic ear when you need it.
