This rate schedule is closed to new installations as defined in Decision 05-05-026.  A customer whose building was constructed prior to December 14, 1981, and was served as a master-meter customer shall be eligible to convert from its master-meter rate schedule to a submetered rate schedule. Buildings originally constructed for a non-residential purpose that have converted to residential use before December 1981 or without the need for a building permit on or after July 1, 1982, shall be eligible to convert from their master-meter rate schedule to a submetered rate schedule. The provisions of Schedule S—Standby Service Special Conditions 1 through 6 shall also apply to customers whose premises are regularly supplied in part (but not in whole) by electric energy from a nonutility source of supply. These customers will pay mon thly reservation charges as specified under Section 1 of Schedule S, in addition to all applicable Schedule ES charges. See Special Conditions 12 and 13 of this rate schedule for exemptions to standby charges. TERRITORY: This rate schedule applies everywhere PG&E provides electric service. RATES: Total bundled service charges are calculated using the total rates below. Customers on this schedule are subject to the delivery minimum bill amount shown below applied to the delivery portion of the bill (i.e. to all rate components other than the generation rate). In addition, total bundled charges will include applicable generation charges per kWh for all kWh usage. Customers receiving a medical baseline allowance shall pay for all usage in excess of 200 percent of baseline at a rate $0.04000 per kWh less than the applicable rate for usage in excess of 200 percent of baseline. No portion of the rates paid by customers that receive a Medical Baseline allow ance shall be used to pay the DWR Bond charge. For these customers, the Conservation Incentive Adjustment generation is calculated residually based on the total rate less the sum of: Transmission, Transmission Rate Adjustments, Reliabili ty Services, Distribution, Generation, Public Purpose Programs, Nuclear Decommissioning, New System Generation Charges 1 , Competition Transition Charges (CTC), and Energy Cost Recovery Amount. Customers receiving a medical baseline allowance shall also receive a 50 percent discount on the delivery minimum bill amount shown below. 1C11 Regulatory Affairs

 APPLICABILITY: This schedule is applicable to service for residential single-phase and polyphase servicesupplied to multifamily accommodations in other than a mobile-home park through onemeter on a single premises and submetered to all individual tenants in accordance withRule 18. These customers will pay monthlyreservation charges as specified under Section 1 of Schedule S, in addition to all applicable

Schedule ES charges. See Special Conditions 12 and 13 of this rate schedule forexemptions to standby charges.

TERRITORY: This rate schedule applies everywhere PG&E provides electric service.

RATES: Total bundled service charges are calculated using the total rates below. Customers on thisschedule are subject to the delivery minimum bill amount shown below applied to thedelivery portion of the bill (i.e. to all rate components other than the generation rate). Inaddition, total bundled charges will include applicable generation charges per kWh for allkWh usage.

3. ANNUAL CONTRACT: For customers who use service for only part of the year,this schedule is applicable only on an annual contract.

4. ALL-ELECTRIC QUANTITIES (Code H): All-electric quantities are applicable toservice to customers with permanently-installed electric heating as the primary heatsource. All-electric quantities are also applicable to service to customers of recordas of November 15, 1984, to whom the former Code W (Basic plus Water Heating)lifeline allowance was applicable on May 15, 1984, and who thereafter maintaincontinuous service at the same location under this schedule.5.

5. SEASONAL CHANGES: The summer season is May 1 through October 31 andthe winter season is November 1 through April 30. Bills that include May 1 andNovember 1 seasonal changeover dates will be calculated by multiplying theapplicable daily baseline quantity for each season by the number of days in eachseason for the billing period.

6. STANDARD MEDICAL QUANTITIES (Code M - Basic Plus Medical Quantities,Code S - All-Electric Plus Medical Quantities): Additional medical quantities areavailable as shown in Rule 19 for both the primary and additional meters.

7. RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNITS: It is the responsibility of the customer toadvise PG&E within 15 days following any change in the number of dwelling units.

Master-Meter/Submetering Rent Adjustment: If an existing Master-Meter customerconverts to submetered service, that customer shall revise tenant rental amountsdownward to remove energy-related charges for the duration of the leaseconsistent with Public Utilities Code 739.5 and Decision 05-05-026.

8. MINIMUM AVERAGE RATE LIMITER: The customer’s bill will be controlled by aminimum average rate limiter. The customer’s bill will be increased if necessary sothat the average monthly rate, calculated using the rates above, is not less than theminimum average rate limiter shown above.

9. MISCELLANEOUS LOADS: Miscellaneous electrical loads such as generallighting, laundry rooms, general maintenance, and other similar use incidental tothe operation of the premises as a multifamily accommodation will be consideredresidential use.

10. BILLING: A customer’s bill is calculated based on the option applicable to thecustomer.

Bundled Service Customers receive supply and delivery services solely from PG&E.The customer’s bill is based on the Total Rates and Conditions set forth in thisSchedule.

 11. SOLAR GENERATION FACILITIES EXEMPTION: Customers who utilize solar

generating facilities which are less than or equal to one megawatt to serve load andwho do not sell power or make more than incidental export of power into PG&E’s

12. DISTRIBUTED ENERGY RESOURCES EXEMPTION: Any customer under atime-of-use rate schedule using electric generation technology that meets thecriteria as defined in Electric Rule 1 for Distributed Energy Resources is exemptfrom the otherwise applicable standby reservation charges. Customers qualifyingfor this exemption shall be subject to the following requirements. Customersqualifying for an exemption from standby charges under Public Utilities (PU) CodeSections 353.1 and 353.3, as described above, must transfer to a time-of-use rate,to receive this exemption until a real-time pricing program, as described in PUCode 353.3, is made available. Once available, customers qualifying for thestandby charge exemption must participate in the real-time program referred toabove. Qualification for and receipt of this distributed energy resources exemptiondoes not exempt the customer from metering charges applicable to time-of-use(TOU) and real-time pricing, or exempt the customer from reasonableinterconnection charges, non-bypassable charges as required in PreliminaryStatement BB - Competition Transition Charge Responsibility for All Customers

and CTC Procurement , or obligations determined by the Commission to result fromparticipation in the purchase of power through the California Department of WaterResources, as provided in PU Code Section 353.7.

13. DWR BOND CHARGE: The Department of Water Resources (DWR) Bond Chargewas imposed by California Public Utilities Commission Decision 02-10-063, asmodified by Decision 02-12-082, and is property of DWR for all purposes underCalifornia law. The Bond Charge applies to all retail sales, excluding CARE andMedical Baseline sales. The DWR Bond Charge (where applicable) is included incustomers' total billed amounts.
