Diwali is a one of the fun filled and happiest holidays in India. People celebrate it by wearing colorful dresses and gift new

clothes to friends and family, preparing sweets and dishes, firing crackers etc.,

A dazzling display of lights will make the festival colorful. It is believed that, when we burst crackers, we should burn the sorrows,

bad thoughts and negativity you have in your mind for a person in our life.

How to celebrate a environmentally safe Diwali?

1. Don't allow kids to play with crackers without elders supervision.

2. Don't burst crackers near combustible materials.

3. Guide kids not to hold the sparklers near body.

4. Play with crackers in open ground.

5. Don't Wear long dresses while bursting crackers.

6. Don't burst crackers near animals, aged and sick people.

Apart from safety measures “Is Our Happy Diwali makes nature unhappy”??

Crackers will create enormous air pollution and noise pollution which affects the nature. The high level of toxic gases and noise cause suffering to the birds and animals.

Air Pollution:

The toxic substances used in crackers will release enormous amount of gases which mixes in the air.

These increased suspended particles will cause eye, nose and throat problems.

Noise pollution:

The noise pollution is highly dangerous, which even leads to hearing problems, blood pressure and heart attack. And it will cause immense suffering to the aged and sick people.

It is not only bad for those who play and environment but also for the people who is manufacturing the

crackers. We all know crackers are mostly made by the young ones which is extremely toxic to handle and they get sick and die soon due tho these toxic

substances.
