unrequited love

1
Unrequited love Here comes spring And when I hear you sing I fly to you like a dove And what follows me is love Your eyes are like moonlight Reading my soul, they might Your lips are the feathers of a phoenix growing from my heart And their touch tears it apart Your skin is kissed by the sun And, oh, my love, I’m almost done But this poem will have no end Until I become your girlfriend And I have to write about your hair and chest Oh, I can not share the rest! My love is pure In that you can be sure But I need a cure Because you my love refuse to see But we can both agree You know you love me deep inside Stop hiding under your pride And I know that love is hard and painful It is not for those disdainful. Tomorrow it is spring again And I shall slowly explain If you avoid me I shall not complain I will simply state you must be insane And you do not have the strength to bear My heavenly beauty, which is rare!
