• Exclude from Tooling

– Excludes files and folders from caching

• Use Refresh Cache(Ctrl+R) when – Code assistance is showing

wrong proposals – There are changes to DB schema

Preference: Progress OpenEdge → Advanced → Class Cache



Refresh Workspace • Turn this off if code is stored in a network location

Preference: General → Startup and Shutdown

– Preferences to show how much memory is consumed by PDS for OE
