As the saying goes, great things grow from small beginnings. The depiction of
the life cycle of a coconut tree encapsulates the immutable truth, that potentials
could only be unleashed after undergoing a transformation process. Likewise,
HeiTech believes that constant changes are needed to uncover new potentials,
create opportunities and cope with the challenges, of the gruelling industry. The
coconut tree inspires us to reflect on every aspect of its growth, from the seedling
to the majestic tree. With each metamorphosis, its capability is unleashed, moving
it closer to realising its potential. The uncanny homogeneity provides us with a
catalyst to seek adaptability, continuity and progress. With that we present this
year’s annual report to our valued shareholders.
Bak kata pepatah, perkara-perkara hebat berkembang daripada permulaan yang
kecil. Gambaran kitaran hidup sepohon kelapa mengukuhkan kebenaran bahawa
potensi hanya boleh diserlahkan selepas melalui proses transformasi. Dalam hal
sama, HeiTech percaya perubahan berterusan diperlukan untuk menyerlahkan
potensi-potensi baharu, mencipta peluang dan menangani cabaran industri

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Sixteenth (16th) Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held at Glenmarie Ballroom, Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, 1 Jalan Usahawan U1/8, 40250 Shah Alam, Selangor on Wednesday, 22 June 2011, at 10.30 a.m. for the following purposes:-
1. To receive and adopt the Audited Accounts of the
Company for the financial year ended 31 December
2010, together with the Reports of the Directors and
Auditors. > Resolution 1
2. To declare the Final Dividend of 7.3% less 25% Malaysian
Income Tax in respect of the financial year ended
31 December 2010. > Resolution 2
3. To re-elect Dato’ Ab. Halim bin Mohyiddin retiring under
Article 82 of the Company’s Articles of Association
and who, being eligible, offers himself for re-election.
> Resolution 3
4. To re-elect Syed Agel bin Syed Salim retiring under
Article 82 of the Company’s Articles of Association
and who, being eligible, offers himself for re-election.

5. To re-elect Haji Ghazali bin Awang under Article 82 of

Ordinary Resolution in accordance with Section 129 of

“That Tan Sri Dato’ Mohd Zuki bin Kamaluddin, who
has attained the age of 75, retiring pursuant to Section
129(6) of the Companies Act, 1965, be and is hereby re-
appointed as Director of the Company to hold office
until the next Annual General Meeting.”

9. To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following
resolution as Ordinary Resolution: > Resolution 9
Proposed Authority to Issue Shares
“THAT pursuant to Section 132D of the Companies Act,
1965, the Directors be and are hereby authorized to issue
shares of the Company at any time until the conclusion
of the next Annual General Meeting and upon such terms
and conditions and for such purposes as the Directors may
in their absolute discretion, deem fit provided that the
aggregate number of shares to be issued does not exceed
10% of the issued share capital of the Company for the time
being.
10. To consider and, if thought fit to pass the following
Ordinary Resolution: > Resolution 10
Proposed Shareholders’ Mandate for Recurrent Related Party Transactions of a Revenue or Trading Nature
“THAT, subject always to the Listing Requirements of Bursa
Malaysia Securities Berhad, approval be and is hereby given
for the Proposed Renewal Shareholders’ Mandate for the
Company and its subsidiaries (“HeiTech Group”) to enter into
recurrent transactions of a revenue or trading nature which
is necessary for HeiTech’s Group’s day to day operations, as
set out in the Circular to Shareholders dated 31 May 2011,
with the related parties mentioned therein provided that
the transactions are in the ordinary course of business and
or normal commercial terms that are not favourable to the
related parties than those generally available to the public
and are not to the detriment of the minority shareholders
of the Company.”
AND THAT the authority conferred by this resolution shall
commence immediately upon the passing of this resolution
and shall continue to be in force until:
(a) the conclusion of the next AGM of HeiTech following
the forthcoming AGM at which such Proposed
Shareholder’s Mandate is passed, or at which time it
will lapse, or the authority is renewed; or
(b) revoked or varied by resolution passed by the
shareholders in an AGM or EGM; or
(c) the expiration of the contract.

Notice of Dividend Entitlement
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN THAT, subject to
the approval of the shareholders at the Sixteenth (16th)
Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on
22 June 2011, a final dividend of 7.3% less 25% Malaysian
Income Tax in respect of the financial year ended
31 December 2010 will be paid to the Shareholders on
5 August 2011. The entitlement date for the said dividend
shall be on 6 July 2011.
(a) Securities transferred to the Depositors’ securities
account before 4.00 p.m. on 6 July 2011 in respect of
ordinary transfer; and
(b) Shares bought on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad
cum entitlement basis according to the Rules of the
Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Notes:
(i) A Member entitled to attend and vote at the Meeting may
appoint a proxy to attend and vote on his behalf. A proxy need
not be a Member of the Company.
(ii) A Member shall not be entitled to appoint more than two (2)
proxies to attend and vote at the Meeting provided that where
a Member is an authorized nominee as defined in accordance
with the provisions of the Securities Industry (Central
Depositories) Act, 1991, it may appoint up to two (2) proxies
in respect of each Securities Account it holds with ordinary
shares in the Company standing to the credit of the Securities
Account.
(iii) Where the appointment is executed by a corporation, it must
be either under its Common Seal or the hand of its officer or
attorney duly authorized.
(iv) The instrument appointing a proxy and the power of attorney
or other authority (if any) under which it is guided or notarially
certified copy of such power or authority, must be deposited at
the office of the Company’s Registrar: MIDF Consultancy and
Corporate Services Sendirian Berhad, Level 8, Menara MIDF,
82 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur, not less than forty
eight (48) hours before the time appointed for holding the
Meeting or at any adjournment thereof.
Explanatory Notes on Special Business
(i) Explanatory note on Resolution 9 of the Agenda -
The proposed adoption of the Ordinary Resolution is primarily
to give flexibility to the Board of Directors to issue and allot
shares at any time in their absolute discretion and in the interest
of the Company without convening a general meeting. The
authorization will, unless revoked or varied by the Company at
a general meeting, expire at the conclusion of the next annual
general meeting.
(ii) Explanatory note on Resolution 10, please refer to Circular to
Shareholders dated 31 May 2011 accompanying the Company’s
Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2010.

(i) Ahli Syarikat yang layak untuk menghadiri dan mengundi

Our valued shareholders and stakeholders,
It is my pleasure to once again share with you our corporate
performance and achievements for the year 2010.
This year, we have chosen the theme of Unleashing Potential
and Transforming Performance, in this annual report. This,
we believe, captures the very essence of our endeavor,
as we brave the tough and challenging ICT environment,
in the years ahead. For 2010, despite the intense business
competition and global economic uncertainties, HeiTech
Padu Berhad (“the Group”) was still able to sustain its
steady growth.
The Group’s resilience and fi nancial strength gave it a
competitive advantage, enabling the Group to maintain its
position as one of Malaysia’s ICT brand leaders. This was
further manifested in the Group gaining more projects
which has put it in good stead for years to come.
While we made good business progress, we had also our
share of missed opportunities. This, however, has provided
us with the chance to learn and sharpen further our business
acumen.
The Leader’s Path
We are proud of the fact that today, we are amongst
the top ICT players in the country, a position which we
have consistently maintained for the last fi ve years. The
Group has showed its pedigree, standing tall as one of a
few homegrown companies competing bravely with the
multinational ICT super brands in Malaysia.

With ICT identified as one of the 12 National Key Economic
Areas (NKEA), the Group is of the view that it will be able
to play its role as a key enabler, to assist the transformation
of the country’s technology landscape and thus lay the
platform for an information-centred economy. As with
other countries, the ICT sector plays a pivotal role in socio-
economic development and is regarded as a powerful tool
to accelerate growth and empower the people in facing
global challenges.
Herein, lies our path to future success as we play our part as
a partner in transforming the nation to become a developed
and high-income economy, resilient even in the face of
economic uncertainty or financial crisis.
Our Financial Track
Our shareholders will be pleased to note that the Group was
able to maintain a steady performance for FY2010. During
the fiscal year, the Group achieved revenue of RM434 million,
an 8% increase from FY2009. HeiTech closed FY2010 with
a PBT margin of 4%, maintaining its margin in FY2009,
despite intense competition from existing customers and
rising costs. Net Profit Attributable to Shareholders (NPATS)
registered at RM8.9 million for this financial year.
Journey of Change and Performance
Operations Review
We journeyed further into Wave 2 of our Transformation
initiative by strengthening our capabilities and process
re-engineering. In terms of leadership position, we have
raised the bar and emerged as the nation’s technology
leader in Network, Data Management and IT Security.
The year 2010 also saw recurring projects from our
existing customers; Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan, Jabatan
Imigresen Malaysia, Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, Lembaga
Hasil Dalam Negeri and Unit Pemodenan Tadbiran dan
Perancangan Pengurusan Malaysia.
Besides strengthening our capabilities and processes,
emphasis was also placed on the establishment of strategic
partnerships and alliances.
One of the more significant achievements was that of
playing a larger role in assisting rural communities, through
the establishment of a strategic partnership with a leading
financial institution and Pos Malaysia Berhad, where through
the utilization of our Shared Banking Services platform, rural
communities can now benefit from basic banking services
provided through their village post offices.

Pemegang saham sekalian, bagi tahun kewangan 2010,Kumpulan berjaya mengekalkan kestabilan prestasinya.Padatahunfiskaltersebut,KumpulanmeraihhasilsebanyakRM434juta,yaknipeningkatan8%berbandingdengantahunkewangan 2009. HeiTech menutup tirai tahun kewangan2010,denganmarginPBTsebanyak4%,lantasmengekalkanmarginnyasebagaimanatahunkewangan2009,sungguhpunwujudnyapersaingansengituntukmerebutpelanggansediaadadanpeningkatankos.UntungBersihBolehDiperuntukkankepada Pemegang Saham (“NPATS”) mencatatkan RM8.9jutabagitahunkewangan2010.

Tahun 2010 juga menyaksikan projek berulang datangdaripada pelanggan sedia ada, Jabatan PengangkutanJalan, Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, Jabatan PendaftaranNegara,LembagaHasilDalamNegeridanUnitPemodenanTadbirandanPerancanganPengurusanMalaysia.
Di samping mengukuhkan keupayaan dan proses kami,Kumpulanturutmenekankansatulagiaspekpenting,iaitupembentukanperkongsiandanperikatanstrategik.
Satu daripada pencapaian bermakna adalah apabilakami memainkan peranan lebih besar dalam membantumasyarakatluarbandarmelaluipembentukanperkongsianstrategik dengan institusi kewangan terkemuka danPos Malaysia Berhad. Dengan menggunakan platformPerkhidmatan Perkongsian Perbankan kami, masyarakatluar bandar kini dapat menikmati manfaat daripadaperkhidmatan perbankan asas yang disediakan menerusipejabatposdesa.

We also partnered with Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia
(LKIM), in the development and implementation of an IT
platform for an E-DANA application system. This innovation
enables LKIM officers and fund managers to retrieve
information on fishermen funds, loan application status,
loan repayment and generated monthly reports.
I firmly believe that our answer to more significant growth
lies in our ability to form synergistic alliances that will
strengthen our business capabilities and ensure sustainable
growth. Such alliances will also increase avenues for us to
share our resource expertise, learn, and build positive value
with our partners. A testimony to this is the implementation
of the zEnterprise 196 mainframe project, a first of its kind
in Malaysia and the ASEAN region, which we undertook
with our long established technology partner, IBM. I am
confident that this partnership will indeed be a catalyst for
our regional expansion plans.
Growing Global
In relation to our global strategy, we will continue to explore
new business opportunities abroad. In 2010, we made
inroads into the Middle East, North Africa and Australia. One
of our global expansion initiatives was the incorporation of
Al Afaaq Total Solutions LLC based in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates. We hope to leverage on this venture to build a
substantial and sustainable ICT business in the Middle East.
I would also like to inform you that we were able to make
headway in the Asia-Oceania region, with the acquisition of
Cinix 1 Pty. Ltd. in Brisbane, Australia. This venture will pave
the way for us to expand into both the Australian and New
Zealand markets.
The Group made further inroads in terms of expanding
foreign alliances in Europe with a collaboration formed with
Thales Nederland, a leading global technology player in
integrated naval systems.
Presently, I am proud to inform you that we have also been
able to extend our reach to Sri Lanka (with the provision of
managed services), the United Kingdom (through Bodynet,
a vehicle body repair workshop management software)
and in Indonesia (through our ICT business process
outsourcing).
In keeping with our leadership role, expanding beyond
Malaysia is a necessity for future sustainability and financial
success. We are also mindful that we need to constantly
review our business strategies and adaptability, in order to
remain relevant in a fast changing ICT environment.
Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
I would like to reiterate that we remain steadfast in our
commitment to best practices of corporate responsibility.
As for our corporate responsibility initiatives (CR), in
2010, the Group focused on four key areas – Community,
Marketplace, Work Place and Environment.
I am particularly pleased with our continued emphasis
on Youth and Education Development. A case in point is
our Empowerment of the Youth Generation Programme,
involving Sekolah Kebangsaan Kertau in Maran, Pahang.
This rural school, with a total enrolment of only 17 students
in Standard Six, has set a proud record of academic
achievement in 2010. Through financial assistance, free
tuition classes and motivational support, the students
excelled in their academic performance: five students
achieved 5As in the UPSR while another two students
achieved 4As.
It was a proud moment for the school. With this record,
they moved from what we can say “a zero to hero” position
in terms of academic excellence. Pursuant to this, I would
like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers and
the teachers as well as the Parent-Teacher Association of
the school, who have helped the students to perform better
in their academic studies and co-curricular activities.

Perikatan ini jugaakan meluaskan pelbagai saluran untuk kami berkongsikepakaran sumber, belajar danmembina nilai-nilai positifbersamarakan-rakankami.BuktikepadaimpianiniadalahpelaksanaanprojekzEnterprise196mainframe,yakniyangpertama seumpamanya di Malaysia dan rantau ASEAN.Projekinidilaksanakanbersamarakanteknologikamiyangsudah sekian lama bertapak kukuh, IBM. Berkembang ke Peringkat Global
Kami akan terus meneroka peluang perniagaan baru diseberang laut. Ini adalah strategi global kami. Pada2010,kami mengorak langkah ke Asia Barat, Afrika Utara danAustralia. Satu daripada inisiatif pengembangan globalkamiadalahpenubuhanAlAfaaqTotalSolutionsLLCyangberpusat di Dubai, Emiriah Arab Bersatu. Kami berharapdapat memanfaatkan perikatan ini untuk membinaperniagaanICTyangcukupbesardirantauAsiaBarat.

Rewarding our Shareholders
Dividend
Malaysia has introduced a Single-tier Tax System (STS) in
Budget 2008 to replace the existing imputation tax system.
This has brought major impact to the treatment of dividend
paid to shareholders. You might have noticed that some
companies have already given out dividends under the new
STS, although they have a six year transitional grace period
until 31 December 2013 to fully convert from imputation to
STS. Under the STS, corporate income is taxed at corporate
level and is a final tax.
As a result, there will be no tax credits deduction for any
dividend paid under STS to individual tax payers. We
are aware that this has negative impact to lower-income
individual shareholders whose top income tax bracket is
less than the statutory company tax rate. Mindful of the
impact STS has on our minority shareholders, HeiTech has
not elected to convert to STS until 31 December 2013.
To thank our shareholders for their trust and commitment
through the years, and with special dedication to our
minority shareholders, the Board of Directors is pleased
to announce that in addition to the interim dividend of
6.7% paid in January 2011, a final dividend of 7.3% less 25%
taxation on 100,716,600 ordinary shares will be paid in
respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2010.
Appreciation

Imbuhan Pemegang Saham
Dividen
Malaysia memperkenalkan Sistem Cukai Satu Tingkat (STS) dalam Bajet 2008 untuk menggantikan sistem pengiraan cukai sedia ada. Ini memberikan kesan besar kepada pembayaran dividen kepada pemegang saham. Sesetengah syarikat sudah pun memberikan dividen menurut STS baru ini meskipun tempoh tangguh bagi peralihan ini adalah 6 tahun, iaitu sehingga 31 Disember 2013. Di bawah STS, pendapatan syarikat dicukai di peringkat korporat dan dianggap sebagai cukai akhir.
Kesannya, tiada potongan kredit cukai bagi sebarang dividen yang dibayar menurut STS kepada pembayar cukai individu. Kami sedar bahawa ini menjejaskan pemegang saham individu berpendapatan rendah yang lingkungan cukai pendapatan tertinggi mereka kurang daripada kadar cukai syarikat berkanun. Prihatin dengan kesan STS kepada pemegang saham minoriti, maka HeiTech memilih untuk tidak menggunakan STS sehingga 31 Disember 2013.
Sebagai menghargai pemegang saham atas kepercayaan dan komitmen mereka selama ini, khususnya pemegang saham minoriti, Lembaga Pengarah dengan sukacitanya mengumumkan sebagai tambahan kepada dividen interim sebanyak 6.7% dibayar pada Januari 2011, pemberian dividen akhir adalah sebanyak 7.3% ditolak 25% cukai ke atas 100,716,600 saham biasa bagi tahun kewangan berakhir pada 31 Disember 2010.

With strong roots and experience as a premier transformation agent in the local IT scene,

Dato’ Mohd Hilmey was appointed as Executive Chairman
of HeiTech Padu Berhad on 5 August 1994. He is a member
of the Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS) Committee.
Prior to joining HeiTech, he has held several leadership
positions in Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). The last
position held in PNB was as the Group Chief Executive,
from 1995 to 1997. He has also held several directorships in
public listed companies such as Malayan Banking Berhad,
Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, KFC Holdings Berhad,
Maxis Communications Berhad, Pasdec Holdings Berhad
and several other private companies of various industries
prior to focusing on HeiTech Group. Currently, he serves as
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia
Pahang (UMP).
His current directorships in HeiTech Group are in Fask
Capital Sdn. Bhd., PT HeiTech Intercity Kerlipan, Inter-City
MPC (M) Sdn. Bhd., Motordata Research Consortium Sdn.

Dato’ Ab. Halim joined KPMG Malaysia in 1977 and had his
early accounting trainings both in Malaysia and United States
of America. He was elevated as a partner of the firm in 1985
and retired in October 2001. During his tenure as partner
for seventeen (17) years, he headed various responsibilities.
At the time of his retirement in 2001, he was the partner in
charge of the Assurance and Financial Advisory Services

Syed Agel was appointed as Director of HeiTech Padu
Berhad on 1 January 1995. He serves as a member of the
Audit Committee.
He started his career with the Auditor General’s Office in
1969. Served Dunlop Malaysian Industries Berhad in 1974
and after nine (9) years of service in various capacities,
he then joined Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in
1983. Served in PNB for seventeen (17) years; initially as its
Financial and Management Audit Manager and retired as
a General Manager of Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad in
July 2000.

National Insurance Sdn. Bhd. as Deputy General Manager
before joining Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad as General
Manager in 1984 specifically to set up the first Malaysian
takaful operation. He then served as Chief Executive Officer
and Director for Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad until
September 2005. He is currently a member of the Board
of Trustee, Sultan Mizan Royal Foundation, a member of
the Islamic Religious Affairs Council Negeri Sembilan and
the Academic Fellow of University College Insaniah, Kedah.
At the same time, he serves as member of the Board of
Directors, Amana Takaful PLC, Sri Lanka and Amana Takaful
Maldives Ltd.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Abi Musa Asa’ari was appointed as Director of HeiTech Padu Berhad on 17 October 2006. He serves as a member of the Nomination Committee, Remuneration Committee and Employee Share Option Scheme (ESOS) Committee.
He started his career in the Malaysian Civil Service as Assistant Director in the Public Service Department in 1973. He then served in the National Bureau of Investigation, National Institute of Public Administration and Petroleum Development Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department before being appointed as the Deputy Budget Director in the Ministry of Finance in 1995. He was appointed as Director General of Federal Agriculture Marketing Authority (FAMA) in 1998 and subsequently as Secretary General at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrobased Industry from 2001 until retirement in 2006. He is currently the Chairman of Lembaga Tabung Haji Malaysia.
His current directorships in other public and private companies are in Lembaga Koko Malaysia, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Konsortium Perikanan Nasional Berhad and Platinum Energy Sdn. Bhd.

Ou was appointed as Director of HeiTech Padu Berhad on 16 April 2010. He started his career with Malayan Banking as a management trainee from 1976 to 1981. He then joined IBM Malaysia in 1981 as a trainee System Engineer in Malaysia and had moved to various technical and management roles. He retires from IBM after almost 30 years of service and his last position was as Managing Director of IBM Malaysia. Under his leadership, IBM Malaysia has been at the forefront of bringing the vision of innovation to the country through partnerships with the government, NGOs, academia and clients.
Ou has consistently availed his experience and expertise to the country’s Information Technology (IT) industry. He was appointed as Councilor for PIKOM (Association of Malaysia Computer Industry) and was awarded the ‘Key Industry Leader Award’ by PIKOM for his contributions to Malaysia’s IT industry. He was also the Chairman for NITC Taskforce for IT literacy and the Adjunct Professor at the Department of Economics & Business Administration, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
He is currently serving as an Advisor in IBM Malaysia. He is also serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Alliance Financial Group and Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd.

INISIATIF UTAMA
Deployment of IBM zEnterprise
HeiTech has made a bold move to be the first in the ASEAN region to deploy IBM’s new zEnterprise mainframe server. From a performance standpoint, the zEnterprise Mainframe is the most powerful commercial IBM system ever which includes up to 96 of the world’s fastest, most powerful microprocessors, capable of executing more than 50 billion instructions per second. The IBM zEnterprise opens up the possibility of hosting entire workloads on a single highly integrated system and is set to support HeiTech’s customers which are running some of the most demanding and mission-critical applications. The new zEnterprise will be located at HeiTech’s Tier IV friendly Data Center and is the most energy-efficient mainframe ever managed by HeiTech Managed Services Sdn. Bhd.
Launch of Center of Excellence
HeiTech collaborates with IBM and Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) in setting up Malaysia’s first Academic Initiative On Campus “Center of Excellence”. The Center of Excellence is the highlight of the System z Academic Initiative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between UMP, IBM and HeiTech in May 2010. Under the collaboration, HeiTech provides UMP with the hardware infrastructure, as well as internships and job opportunities for its graduates. UMP also provides teaching resources and facilities, whilst IBM provides leading software, courseware, training and testing necessary to gain IBM certification. The tripartite alliance signifies strong commitment by HeiTech, UMP, and IBM in supporting the Government’s aspiration toward human capital development, specifically in bridging the shortage in System z technical skills in Malaysia. It also aims to position Malaysia as a hub of skilled IT experts and mainframe specialists in this region.
Launch of SU-30MKM Simulator Center
HeiTech has launched the first state-of-the-art Su-30MKM Simulator Center in the region for jet fighter operations training of the Royal Malaysian Air Force [RMAF] at RMAF Airbase, Gong Kedak, Terengganu. The Simulator Center houses two (2) sets of dual seater high fidelity Sukhoi Su-30MKM Simulator systems with the capability to carry out full mission training in a network environment. The uniqueness of the center is that the training mission can be conducted using more than one simulated aircraft simultaneously, thereby effectively imitating an actual environment. The system is capable to train the pilot, weapon sensor officer and ground crew due to its high level fidelity in simulating the aircraft flight model. The Simulator Center was developed based on the Private Financing Initiative [PFI] business model that makes HeiTech accountable for the operation and maintenance of the center for the next ten (10) years until 2020.
Launch of Padu*MSS
Another one of our recent product development is Padu*MSS, a managed security service offered by HeiTech Managed Services Sdn. Bhd. Padu*MSS offers round-the-clock real-time monitoring of all security incidents, which has a built-in Comprehensive Incident Management and Response system that not only alerts, responds and mitigates security issues but advises on suitable preventive measures to be taken so loss or corruption of data can be avoided altogether. The product has a capability called Global Threat Monitoring that subscribes to 27 realtime security alerts, way beyond the mere five alerts that its competitors are capable of executing.Considering Padu*MSS’ excellent standard of operating procedures that comply with international standards, Padu*MSS is set to truly transform the scene on security protection for enterprises and organisations across the board.
Shared Banking Services
Shared Services concept utilizing the computer server facilities has become a common infrastructure to route transactions providing real-time services for customers. With the advent of technology, customers are becoming more demanding and expect reliable, convenience and ease of doing their daily business. In fulfilling the shared services need of our corporate customers, HeiTech has developed an exclusive R&D product aptly named Shared Banking Services [SBS] for a leading financial institution in Malaysia. This solution deployed HeiTech’s Device Service Server [DSS] that enables different applications to share common devices and its Hybrid Client [HC], a middleware that act as a transaction engine that drives SBS.
SBS is a collaborative effort between the financial institution and Pos Malaysia in offering the public convenience and expediency transactions. SBS enables selected Pos Offices across Malaysia to offer banking services such as deposit, withdrawal, payment and other related banking services.
The implementation of SBS marks another milestone for HeiTech in commercializing its R&D product.

HeiTech melangkah maju ke hadapan dengan menjadisyarikatICTpertamadirantauASEANyangmenggunakanPelayan Kerangka Utama zEnterprise IBM. Dari segiprestasi, kerangka utama zEnterprise merupakan sistemkomersil IBM yang paling berkuasa. Ia merangkumisehingga96mikropemprosesanterpantasdanberkuasadiduniayangberupayamenguruskandatalebihdaripada50bilion arahan sesaat. zEnterprise IBMberupayamenguruskeseluruhan beban kerja kepada satu sistem integrasitunggal yang mampu menyokong aplikasi penting parapelanggan. zEnterprise baharu ini akan ditempatkan diPusatDataHeiTech yangbertaraf Tier IV danmerupakankerangka utama pertama seumpamanya yang palingcekapdarisegipenggunaankuasadanianyadikendalikanoleh HeiTechManaged Services Sdn. Bhd.
Pelancaran Pusat Kecemerlangan
HeiTech berkerjasama dengan IBM dan UniversitiMalaysia Pahang (UMP) dalam pembangunan “PusatKecemerlangan” untuk UMP. Pusat Kecemerlangan inimerupakan kemuncak daripada Perjanjian Persefahamanberkenaan Inisiatif Akademik Sistem z yang dimeteraiantara HeiTech, IBM dan UMP pada Mei 2010. Menerusikerjasama ini, HeiTech akan menyediakan infrastrukturperkakasan serta latihan industri dan peluang kerjayakepadapelajarUMP.UMPpula akanmenyediakan tenagapengajar dan kemudahan-kemudahanmanakala IBMakanmenyediakan perisian, latihan dan ujian tertentu untukmemperolehi sijil IBM. Jalinan kerjasama antara HeiTech,UMP dan IBM menyerlahkan komitmen mereka untukmerealisasikan aspirasi kerajaan dalam pembangunanmodal insan khususnya dalam mengatasi kekurangantenaga pakar dalam Sistem z di Malaysia. Programtanggungjawab sosial ini merupakan program pertamaseumpamanya yang diperkenalkan di negara ini dan iasecara tidak langsung akan menjadikan Malaysia sebagaihub modal insan khususnya dalam menyediakan tenagapakar IT dalam bidang kerangka utama di rantau ini.
Pelancaran Pusat Simulasi SU-30MKM
HeiTech telah melancarkan Pusat Simulasi Su-30MKMpertamaseumpamanyadirantauinibagikegunaanlatihanoperasi jet pejuang Sukhoi Su-30MKM Tentera Udara DiRaja Malaysia (TUDM) di pangkalan udara TUDM GongKedak, Terengganu. Pusat Simulasi ini menempatkan dua(2) set sistem Simulasi Sukhoi Su-30MKM dua tempatduduk dengan keupayaan untukmenjalankanmisi latihandalam persekitaran dalam talian. Keunikan pusat ini ialahdimanamisi latihanbolehdijalankanmenggunakan lebihdaripada satu pesawat simulasi serentak sepertimanadalam persekitaran sebenar. Sistem tersebut juga bukansahaja mampu untuk melatih juruterbang dan pegawaisensor persenjataan malah ianya turut mampu melatihkrewteknikalkeranasistemtersebutdisokongoleh tahapkeupayaan tinggi dalammensimulasimodel penerbanganpesawat. Pusat Simulasi tersebut dibangunkan menerusiInisiatifPembiayaanSwasta(“PFI”)dimanaHeiTechakandipertanggungjawabkan untuk mengurus operasi sertapenyelenggaraan pusat tersebut untuk tempoh sepuluh(10) tahun sehingga 2020.
Pelancaran Padu*MSS
Satu lagi pembangunan produk terbaharu kami ialahPadu*MSS, perkhidmatan keselamatan terurus yangditawarkan oleh HeiTech Managed Services Sdn. Bhd.Padu*MSS menawarkan pemantauan sepanjang masaterhadap ke semua insiden berkaitan keselamatan dimana ia dilengkapi dengan sistem Maklum Balas danPengurusan Insiden Komprehensif yang bukan sahajamemberi amaran, maklum balas dan mengurangkanmasalah berkaitan keselamatan tetapi turut memberinasihat terhadap langkah pencegahan yang sesuaisupaya kehilangan atau kerosakan data boleh dielaksama sekali. Produk ini mempunyai kemampuan yangdipanggilPemantauanAncamanGlobalyangmemberikan27 penggera keselamatan, jauh berbeza daripada 5amaran keselamatan yang ditawarkan oleh pesaing.Memandangkan standard Padu*MSS yang sangat baikdalam prosedur pengendalian yang setaraf denganstandard antarabangsa, Padu*MSS kini bersedia untukmentransformasi senario perlindungan keselamatan untuksyarikat dan organisasi di dalam dan luar negara.
Perkhidmatan Perkongsian Perbankan
Konsep Perkhidmatan Perkongsian yang menggunakankemudahan pelayan komputer menjadi infrastrukturumumdalammengendalikan transaksi yangmenyediakanperkhidmatan masa nyata kepada pelanggan. Melaluiperkembangan teknologi terkini, kehendak pelanggankini menjadi lebih tinggi dan mengharapkan sesuatuyang boleh dipercayai, senang dan mudah dalammenjalankanperniagaanharianmereka.Dalammemenuhikeperluanperkhidmatanperkongsianpelanggankorporat,HeiTech telah membangunkan produk R&D eksklusifdinamakan Perkhidmatan Perkongsian Perbankan untukpeneraju institusi kewangan di Malaysia. Penyelesaian inimenggunakanPelayanPerkhidmatanPeranti(“DSS”)yangmembolehkan aplikasi berbeza berkongsi peralatan yangsama, dan Hybrid Client (HC), satu perisian middlewareyang berfungsi sebagai enjin transaksi yang memacuPerkhidmatan Perkongsian Perkhidmatan.
Perkhidmatan Perkongsian Perbankan merupakankerjasama di antara institusi kewangan tersebut denganPos Malaysia dalam memberikan kemudahan transaksikepada para pelanggan. Perkhidmatan PerkongsianPerbankan membolehkan Pejabat Pos terpilih seluruhMalaysia memberi kemudahan perkhidmatan perbankaninstitusi kewangan tersebut seperti deposit, pengeluaran,pembayaran dan perkhidmatan perbankan lain.

With a decade of enviable track record, experience and
extensive knowledge of the local IT industry, HeiTech Padu
Berhad strives and remains strong as one of the nation’s

The epitome of HeiTech’s managed data centre services is
the completed state of the art Tier IV standard Data Center
services at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. The data center is a
critical asset to HeiTech’s Data Center Services and Business
Recovery Services approved by Bank Negara Malaysia.
The Tier IV Data Center is characterized with redundancy
in multiple backup powers, state-of-the art environmental
control power, telecommunication lines, comprehensive
security, and the ability to withstand fire. In addition, the
products and services run on multi-platform and vendor
independent environment. These high standard qualities will
meet the demand of many organizations in terms of high
service level, availability, data integrity and security. This
shall expand HeiTech’s ability in the outsourcing capabilities

• Data Management and Processing
The data management and processing business provides
by HeiTech’s subsidiaries, Inter-City MPC (M) Sdn Bhd,
(“Inter-City”) has reached its 6th year of operation under
HeiTech’s stewardship and continues to provide consistent
contribution to the Group.
The future business positioning of Inter-City is the
automation of e-channel options to complement the
hard copy variable data printing services. This will enable
the output of data management and processing to be
distinguished both physically and electronically. In 2009,
we have expanded our data management and processing
services to Indonesia via Inter-City Kerlipan.
• Electronic Commerce
One of the key elements of Electronic Commerce
(e-commerce) is the means for an electronic settlement
mechanism that links merchants, financial institutions and
online customers especially in the area of micro payments.
Through an investment company, Fask Capital Sdn Bhd,
HeiTech is developing the settlement infrastructure for
e-commerce.
• Content Development and Distribution
The acquisition of Electronic Media Airtime Services
(“EMAS”) is part of HeiTech’s ongoing strategy to diversify
the Company’s business into other areas of technology
after years of growth driven by its core business pillars.
The content development and distribution business entails
of development and provision of digital content business,
not limited to traditional media exclusively, which includes
IPTV, WebTV. Other future related technologies which
allows HeiTech to make in-roads into distribution channel
leveraging on the proliferation of 3rd Generation Mobile
Network (“3G”), World Interoperability for Microwave
Access (“WIMAX”) and Wireless Local Area Network (“Wi-
fi”) by the mobile and telecommunication operators in the
country.
Educational Trend Sdn. Bhd. (“ETSB”) content development
and distribution are build on sound contend development
strengthen by the educational portal and hosting with noble
intention to bridging digital divide.
• ICT Security and Services
From assessment to implementation, our customers
benefit from HeiTech’s seamless integration of services,
resulting in a more cost-effective security programs. Our
experts develop proactive, multi-approaches that can
respond quickly to ever-changing threats and help ensure
operational continuity and integrity in crisis. Our offering

• Pembangunan dan Pengedaran Kandungan
