BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) OVERVIEWBUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) OVERVIEW

• To centralized and simplify the monitoring, operation and management of a building or buildings.

BMS Objective :BMS Objective :

• A system which centralizes the monitoring, operations and management of a building to achieve more efficient operations.

• To control and monitor the machines installed in the building using Honeywell Automated Controllers, Field devices and software.

WHAT IS BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS)?

BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) OVERVIEWBUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) OVERVIEW

• To simplify operation with routine & repetitive functions programmed for automatic operation.

• For better management of the facility through historical records, maintenance management programs and automatic alarm reporting.

• To reduce operator training time through on-screen instructions and supporting graphic displays.

• To improve operation through software & hardware integration of multiple subsystems such as Direct Digital Control (DDC), Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control or Lighting Control.

WHAT IS AN ENTERPRISE BUILDING INTEGRATOR (EBI) SOFTWARE?

- The HONEYWELL ENTERPRISE BUILDINGS INTEGRATOR (EBI) is a software that makes up the central control system for the BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS).

- System Security is facilitated through the use of an Operator ID and Password that must be properly entered prior to gaining access to the control functions of the Computer.

- Integration between leading industry standards such as LonMark, BACnet and OLE for Process Control (OPC) are supported.
