Play Book: NRHH CC’s, NCC’s, and GLACURH Directorship,

For a few years now, I have had the opportunity to work with and get to know Molly Thome. She has made an amazing impact during her time at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, not only in NRHH, but also across campus. Molly has taken the Julie E. Zsido Chapter of NRHH at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to exceptional heights. Following the reading of this bid, my hope is that you will see what an exceptional leader Molly Thome is, and

why she deserves to be named NRHH President of the Year.

Molly has been involved in NRHH since she was inducted at the end of the spring semester in 2014. Throughout her time in the organization, Molly has consistently shown a dedication beyond the level of expectation. In her first year, she was elected as the Vice President. She did a phenomenal job creating two elaborate recognition receptions for our residential living student leaders. Molly went above and beyond the expectations laid out in the position description, and did it flawlessly.

Last April, Molly was elected as President. This position includes overseeing the chapter, running chapter and executive meetings, and serving time within the NRHH/RHA office. Molly not only does all of these actions well, she has gone far beyond these expectations. Molly has put a considerable amount of time into reviving our NRHH chapter. With Molly at the reigns, the chapter has pushed for more publication of our organization. She has structured three Career Services programs, in order to support our student body, worked with other organizations on campus to create volunteering opportunities, and put hours of time into hosting a first annual “Get to the Point” fundraiser for our chapter.

In addition, Molly also serves as a Community Adviser in our suites style building. She provides meaningful programming and interactions with residents in order to build a home away from home. Not only does Molly work as a CA in her building, she also works as a front desk receptionist. She greets all residents with a smile and hello, and creates a welcoming environment for all students.

All of these leadership positions and actions describe Molly’s drive for excellence, hard work, and dedication to UWSP’s campus and the Julie E. Zsido Chapter of NRHH. I hope that, through this bid, you will see these qualities as well, and choose to recognize Molly Thome as the 2016 NRHH President of the Year.

Sincerely,

Rachael Switzer

In addition to Molly’s dedication to NRHH, she serves as a leader in other

areas on campus:

Molly is a second year Community Adviser,

which allows her to connect with many

different students on our campus. She

works within our suites style building,

which allows for her to come in help

student demographics. Molly thrives though

community building and programming in

her position.

Molly serves as a front desk receptionist, and has

done so with a bright and shining smile. She

endlessly to make sure all individuals entering the

Molly is very dedicated to encouraging others to get

Molly has spent countless hours attending various leadership conferences

in order to further her knowledge and ability to lead not only NRHH, but in

all areas she impacts at the University of Wisconsin-

students from our institution to attend this opportunity.

Team Spirit (Student Quotes)

“Molly constantly is looking for

our organization to become

more involved on our campus.

We have never had this much

recognition at UWSP and it

wouldn’t be possible without her

phenomenal leadership skills.”

-Rachael Switzer,

NRHH CC

“Molly is one of the most bubbly,

motivated and positive people

I've ever had the pleasure of

working with. She is a constant

support system that has made

great strides to insure that the

UWSP Julie E. Zsido Chapter of

NRHH is the best it can be, all

while continuing to be a superb

student, volunteer and mentor.

Her constant energy and smile

bring a welcoming face to the

organization, and is something

to be admired.”

-Amanda Doperalski,

NRHH PR/Technology

“Molly works harder than anyone I know. She is

able to stand tall in times of adversity, and

cares endlessly about the people around her. I

can always rely on Molly to help catch up on

work when I am behind, or just be there for me

when I need someone to talk to. She started as

a coworker and now we are great friends,

because she is a down to earth genuine person

who is liked by everyone.”

-Brandon Willms,

Suites CA

"I have worked personally with Molly for almost two years now, from being in the NRHH/RHA office

to living in the same hall. She has continuously been an extremely hard worker in any position she

has. When she was the Vice President of NRHH she did an amazing job putting together the Fall

and Spring Recognition Receptions and as President this year she has done a spectacular job run-

ning meetings and addressing concerns throughout the year. She has dedicated a lot of her time to

advancing our NRHH Chapter, as well as holding many other positions, being a Community Advisor,

and volunteering at every opportunity that comes up. Molly really does exude the core values of

NRHH in everything she does. It is without a doubt in my mind that Molly deserves the title of WHIL

Outstanding Member of the Year. She is one of the most genuinely nice people I have ever had the

privilege of working with and I cannot wait to see where she goes from her time at UW - Stevens

Point."

-Collin Schroeder,

RHA W/NCC

“Molly is an extraordinary leader. Her positivity

and enthusiasm are contagious—and her ability

to motivate others is top notch! But what I

appreciate the most about Molly is her humility—

always giving recognition to those around her,

but never drawing attention to herself. That’s

true leadership.”

-Julie Zsido,

NRHH Adviser
