However, 40-44% of each class is working in VCD or
in a mixed IxD/VCD capacity.

design employment agencies after graduation.
Time Until Initial Employment, 2012–2013
Initial employment of IxD majors is very strong, with 68% of IxD alumni finding employment within one month after graduation;
91% secure employment within four months after graduation.

Of 31 alumni surveyed, 30 are currently employed. Design employment is dominated by corporations (84%), with a smaller percentage in consultancies (10%) and nonprofit organizations (3%).

Location Before and After Graduation
The majority (90% = 28/31) of IxD students are in-state (from Washington). After graduation, most alumni (90% = 28/31) remain in Washington, with 54% staying in Seattle.
Only 10% of alumni have relocated outside of Washington (to California and Washington DC).
