What is the “University of Scouting”? The University of Scouting is the annual training Extravaganza for all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity and Venturing Leaders as well as potential leaders and Venturing Youth. Some of the best instructors in the Bay Area are available to help enhance your leadership skills to teach you new and innovative ways to work with your youth and communities. Bring your unit’s “Leadership Team” so all can share in the knowledge and experience. What is the purpose of the program? The “University of Scouting” is a supplemental training opportunity for all BSA adult leaders and Venturing Youth. Den Chief Training is also offered. This once-a-year event has the widest variety of training opportunities in all program areas, all in one place. Earn your Scouting Degree! As “First-year students”, you may earn an Associate Scouting Degree. More than likely you want to earn your degree in the College for the program in which you are a leader. Choose your college.
