B.E./ B.TECH. / M.E./ M.TECH. ADMISSION NOTIFICATION-2019-20 (for Foreign Students/PIOs(OCIs)/Children of the Indian Workers in Gulf Countries)

University Foreign Relations Office (UFRO), Osmania University, Hyderabad invites applications from

eligible foreign students / PIOs (OCIs) / Children of the Indian Workers in Gulf Countries for

admission into B.E./ B.TECH./ M.E./ M.TECH. Courses at University College of Engineering,

Osmania University for the academic year 2019-20.

ELIGIBILITY:

S.No. Course Eligibility

1. B.E./B.Tech. For Foreign Students: The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% of marks in the aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry at 10+2 level (K12) or an equivalent examination. For PIOs / OCIs / Children of the workers working in Gulf countries students: The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% of marks in the aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry only, at 10+2 level (K12) or an equivalent examination.

2. M.E. / M.Tech. The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% of marks in the aggregate of all subjects at B.E. /B.Tech. level or an equivalent examination from his home country/ from India.

PROSPECTUS & APPLICATION FORM:

Eligible foreign students / P.I.Os (O.C.Is) / Children of the Indian Workers in Gulf Countries seeking

admission into B.E./ B.TECH./ M.E./ M.TECH. courses can obtain Prospectus-cum-Application forms

by registering their names for the desired course on payment of INR 14,500/- (Indian Rupees Fourteen

Thousand, Five Hundred only) towards Registration-cum-Prospectus fee (NON-REFUNDABLE

PROCESSING FEE) in the form of DEMAND DRAFT drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR, UFRO, OU” from

any Nationalised Indian Bank, payable at Hyderabad.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PROVISIONAL ADMISSION: The candidate is required to submit the duly filled-in application form along with the following documents: 1. B.E./B.TECH. COURSES:

a. REGISTRATION-CUM-PROSPECTUS FEE IN THE FORM OF DEMAND DRAFT FOR INR 14,500/- (INDIAN RUPEES FOURTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONLY) DRAWN IN FAVOUR OF ‘DIRECTOR, UFRO, OU’ FROM ANY NATIONALISED INDIAN BANK, PAYABLE AT HYDERABAD.

a. 2 COPIES OF HIGH SCHOOL/10+2 CERTIFICATES. (10th, 11th and 12th certificates) (Please enclose the original language version and the translated version of the Certificates and marks sheet duly attested by the Ministry of Higher Education/concerned Embassies.)

b. 2 SETS of all pages of Passport of the candidate. (Including empty pages). c. One Passport size photograph of the candidate.

NOTE: 1. The full name of the candidate is taken from the High School certificate /10+2 certificate.

Hence, the candidate’s name on the certificate should inevitably match with his/her name in the Passport. This office shall not accept any discrepancies in the name of the candidate. 2. NRIs/ Children of the workers in Gulf Countries seeking admission into B.E. /B.Tech.

courses are required to submit the following certificates in addition to the above documents: a. Bonafide/Certificates of study abroad in case of NRIs/ Children of workers working in

the Gulf Countries for admission into B.E./B.Tech. programmes. b. NRI status certificates for the NRIs/ Children of workers working in the Gulf Countries. c. Work permit of the NRIs/ Children of workers working in the Gulf Countries d. 2 SETS of all pages of Passport of the parent who is working abroad. (Including

empty pages).

2. M.E./ M.TECH. COURSES: a. REGISTRATION-CUM-PROSPECTUS FEE IN THE FORM OF DEMAND DRAFT FOR INR

14,500/- (INDIAN RUPEES FOURTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONLY) DRAWN IN FAVOUR OF ‘DIRECTOR, UFRO, OU’ FROM ANY NATIONALISED INDIAN BANK, PAYABLE AT HYDERABAD.

b. 2 COPIES of the Certificate and marks sheets of the B.E./B.TECH. COURSES respectively. (Please enclose the original language version and the translated version of the Certificates and Marks sheets duly attested by the Ministry of Higher Education/concerned Embassies.)

c. 2 COPIES of the HIGH SCHOOL/10+2 CERTIFICATE- (Please enclose the original language version and the translated version of the Certificates and Marks sheets duly attested by the Ministry of Higher Education/concerned Embassies.)

d. 2 SETS of all pages of passport of the candidate. (Including empty pages). e. ONE Passport size photograph of the candidate.

certificates of the Undergraduate courses. Hence, the candidate’s name on the certificate should inevitably match with his/her name in the Passport. This office shall not accept any discrepancies in the name of the candidate.
