University Club Board of Directors
Dear Members,
As we approach the close of 2017, we can all agree that the year has been a challenging one for the University family. Despite the challenges, we remain focused and continue to bring value to your membership. Your support is needed and very much appreciated.
In our efforts to satisfy comments and requests provided in the recent survey, during the months of September and October, we began opening the Pub on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings for Happy Hour. Friday evenings feature live musical performances from local artists. Unfortunately, only a few members stopped by to show their support. We will continue to offer Happy Hour on various Friday evenings in November and December. Feel free to call us or refer to your newsletter (pg.8) to confirm dates. Our Membership/Program Committee is looking at the possibility of offering Bingo on Thursday evenings. We would like to start this new event at the beginning of the new year (2018).
Let us also mention, this is a great time not only to be a member, but to make sure that your friends, colleagues, and family are members. Want to make a statement? Invite your client or guest to join you for lunch at “YOUR” Club! You only need to contact Linda Johnson at 502-852-3499 or email [email protected]. Ask about the promotion offering full membership with no initiation fee that is good through December 31st. Help us grow the membership and continue to keep membership “A Very Affordable Luxury.”
As you begin to make plans for Thanksgiving, holiday parties, or business needs, remember to utilize your Club. There’s lots to do-- Lunch and Collection Highlights Tour at the Speed Museum, Seafood Night, Thanksgiving Day Brunch, Breakfast and Magic with Santa, Members Holiday Party and more. Let’s have fun and finish the year with a strong resolve to make the New Year a great one for your family and the University family.
All the best,The Management Staff
