The Final Placements of MBA-IInd yearstudents (2016-2018 Batch) at theUnivers i ty Business School (UBS) ,Panjab University, Chandigarh has shownnot only a significant but a remarkableincrease in salary packages-with HighestSalary offered to any single studentincreasing to Rs 46 Lakh/annum (fromRs 15 Lakh/annum last year i.e for2015-2017 Batch).
The average salary of the outgoing batch has increased to Rs 9Lakh/annum (from Rs 7.58 Lakh/annum last year i.e. for2015-2017 Batch). The job profile offered to outgoing UBSstudents has also improved. I am confident that this trendwould continue in 2019 final placements and there would be asignificant increase in salary packages for our students of2017-2019 Batch. All this has happened because of severalmeasures taken by UBS Faculty towards improvement andstrengthening of the MBA program, and I firmly believe thatthis would surely get reflected in improved NIRF rankings ofUBS for 2019.
