first of all we would like to congratulate you for choosing one of the training of

University Miskolc.

The goal of this syllabus is to help you through the registration process of the Hungarian

tertiar education system.

Registration on the web-page

To have a valid application first you have to register on the webpage www.felvi.hu (please

click on the link).

Right now you are on the webpage where you must create a Profile for your application.

1. Please click on the „regisztráció” button. (regisztráció means registration)

2. At the next page you must fill out the following data.

Felhasználónév: (User name) Please enter a User name that you would like to use to enter the

felvi.hu webpage

E-mail: Type a valid e-mail adress. You will receive further information to this e-mail adress

from felvi.hu.

Jelszó (Password): Type your password that fulfills the following critera (min. 8 characters,

contains minimum 1 number, letter, capital letter from each.

Jelszó újra: Retype your password

Érdeklődés (Interest): Click on your field of interest from the following. (Felvételi –

Application, Hallgatói élet – Student life, Felsőoktatási kutatások, elemzések – Research and

analysis of Higher Education, Diplomán túli lehetőségek –Postgradaute Opportunities) This

field is optional.

Here is an example for the registration:

Click on the „Regisztrál” (Registrate)button.

Activating web-site registration

After registration you will receive the following message from the webpage. „Sikeres

regisztráció” means successful registration.

Now you can enter your personal page with the User name (1. felhasználónév) and Password

(2.*****) you have chosen. Click on the „Belépek” button (3.)

Congratulations! Now you entered you personal page.

Please click on „Én felvim” button on the left side of the screen to proceed to the next page

where you can enter to the e-registration interface.

Now you must see the next page.

Please click on „Tovább az e-felvételire” button on the left side of the screen. (Proceeding to

the e-registration surface)

Activating application

Now you must see the page below. Please click on the „Belépés” (Enter button)

On the next page you can read the Legal Terms of Registration to the Hungarian Tertiary

Education. Please scroll down to to the end of the page and find box shown below on the left

side. To proceed please tick on the “Elfogadom a feltételeket” on click on the “Regisztráció”

button. (With this you accept the terms and conditions to apply)

After that you must receive the following message on the next page.

Congratulations! Your application is now active. The page is requesting you your Security

Number. After the accepting the terms and conditions you received an email to your e-mail

account which includes your Security Number of your application and your Application

Identity Number.

Here as example message which shows you where to find the Security Number and the

Application Identity Number.

Ezt a kódot kell az e-felvételi felület felugró ablakában a Biztonsági kód mezőbe

A biztonsági kódot érdemes megőriznie vagy megjegyeznie, mivel minden bejelentkezéskor

A felvételi azonosító szám a felvételizők pontos azonosításra szolgál, bármilyen későbbi

adategyeztetés, javítás, módosítás, vagy egyéb ügyintézés során szüksége lehet rá. A felvételi

azonosító számát egyébként a felület fejlécében folyamatosan láthatja.

Javasoljuk, hogy az e-felvételi használata során olvassa el a kezdőlapon található

információkat, illetve az űrlapokon található Súgóból elérhető részletes tudnivalókat.

Now please enter your Security Number into the following panel and press the “Belépés”

button. (You will always be asked to enter Security Number enter your application page)

Now you entered the interface where you must submit your personal data for the application.

Number 1 shows where you can see your Application Identity Number on the screen.

Number 2 shows the toolbar of the process of application. (Regisztráció: Registration; Adatok

ellenőrzése: Checking Data, Ellenőrzés: Control; Hitelesítés folyamatban: Verification in

progress; Hitelesítve: Verified). You must proceed through these steps till you will have a

verified application. It seems to be difficult, but don’t worry, in the following section we help

you create your successful application

Number 3 shows the next toolbar with the following (Jelentkező adatai: Personal data of the

applicant; A jelentkezés: Application; A jelentkező eredményei: Results of the applicant; A

felvételi kérelem érvényesítése: User validation of the application)

Let’s start with filling out your Personal data panel. Please click on “Személyes adatok”.-

The next page basically consists of six major parts.

The first is your personal data, the second is about your residence, and the third is about your

mailing address. The next page shows the requested parts of this form. All the questions

marked with a star * are compulsory.

On the “Előnév” section you can choose from different titles as follows: dr/Dr. –Ph.D ; id-

senior; ifj- junior; özv-widow.

Születési nevem megváltozott (My birth name has been changed – Click if it is true)

Tanulói hallgatói azonosító: Unless you are not a student in a Hungarian Secondary School

you don’t have this kind of Student Indentity Number. – Not a compulsory data for foreigners

Residence, mailing address, invoice and contact

Please choose your current Country of Residence (Ország) – Postal code (Irányítószám).

Please type current city or settlement of your residence (Város (község)) – Type in your

current address (Cím)

If your residence and mailing address is not the same please scroll down on this page and fill

the following questions. By “Értesítési név” type in the name your documentation will be

addressed to.

In the next field below you can give your phone number where you will receive results of

your application or you can be called about your application in case of any needs.

Telefonszám (Phone number) – Mobiltelefonszám (Mobile phone number) – Your e-mail

address will be already there from the registration.

In the next panel you can contribute to the usage of your Personal data from the part of the

Hungarian Company handling applications.

Invoice:

If you need an invoice with a different name or address you already gave please fill out the

following.

If you are finished with filling out the forms click on “Mentés” (Save) at the bottom of the

page.

Without filling out the Personal Data you are not able to proceed to the next steps.

Now fill out the next menu.

Érettségi bizonyítvány kibocsátásának (várható) éve: Year of high school matriculation

Külföldön működő középiskolában végzett – Graduated outside Hungary in a foreign country

– (Tip in if true)

Külföldi rendszerű, Magyarországon működő középiskolában végez/végzett – Graduated in

Az eljárási díj befizetésének módja – Paying application fee with…: Banki átutalás (Bank

for Hungarian residents) Please ALWAYS choose “HITELESÍTŐ ADATLAP”. This must

be exported to .pdf and printed out as a final step. (Regarding to this you will find support on

the last page of our guide)

If you are going to make final examination in a Hungarian high school please tick in “2013-

ban is érettségi vizsgát tesz”. If you are currently studying or graduated already at a

University please tick in “Felsőfokú tanulmányokat folytat(ott) vagy felsőfokú végzettséggel

rendelkezik”.

If you are finished with filling out the forms click on “Mentés” at the bottom of the page.

Selecting programs

Now proceed to the next page by clicking on “Jelentkezés felvétele”- Register new

application

On this page select „Új jelentkezés felvétele”- Register new application to select the

Universities and programs you would like to choose.

At the bottom of the page choose the University you would like to apply to.

Click on the „Tovább” button to proceed.

Now click on the faculty you would like to apply.

Choose the program you would like to attend to. (ME-GTK – Miskolci Egyetem

Gazdaságtudományi Kar – University of Miskolc – Faculty of Economics)

(Example refers to the MBA English course. )

Now click on „Szak felvétele”

Congratulations! You already choosen the first program you would like to join.

As a default option you can choose 3 different programs for 9.000 HUF. (This 9.000 HUF

should be paid anyway) (The method of choosing another program is the same as interpreted

before)

Higher education diploma

In the next page (Felsőfokú tanulmányok – Higher education studies) you can fill out the

details of your degree already obtained.

Click on the „Új felsőfokú tanulmány felvétele” button to fill out questions about your

diploma already obtained.

Now fill out the data regarding to your degree.

Szint (Level – Please choose BA/BSC or MA/MSC)

Szak, szakpár (Program)

A felsőfokú képzés kezdésének ideje (Date your started your program – yyyy-mm)

Végbizonyítványt szerzett – You already received you diploma (Tipp in)

Oklevél száma (Number of diploma)

Oklevél kiállításának éve (Year of obtaining the diploma)

If you are finished with filling out the forms click on “Mentés” at the bottom of the page then

“Következő” (Next) button to proceed.

Uploading documents

Now you must upload the required documents.

Érettségi bizonyítvány: Matriculation documents

Felsőfokú oklevél: Diploma

Felsőfokú tanulmányi eredmények: Results of your University program

(„OTDK/TDK igazolás and Szakmai (elő)tanulmányok tevékenységek” are only for

Hungarian residents) – not compulsory

Felvételi eljárás díja – Electronic document proving the payment of the application fee.

If you are finished with filling out the forms and uploading click on “ “Következő” button to

proceed.

Some usefull information about the procedure when your are an applicant with foreign degree

or certificate:

All of your documents must be uploaded in two copies. One is the original document and the other is

an authenticated translation of the original document into Hungarian. According to the this process

the Educational Office of Hungary may ask you to perform the so called nationalization process of

your degree.

Payment and Verification

Basically you must pay 9.000 HUF for your application. If you have chosen more programs it

can be more. It is shown in payment page. (Fizetés)

If you are paying from a non-Hungarian bank you need the following:

Always write your Application Identity Number into the transaction announcement.

After finishing all your tasks about filling the forms. Please click on the „Ellenőrzés és

hitelesítés” button to Check and Verify your application.

If you have done well now you can print your Verification sheet by clicking on „Hitelesítő

adatlap nyomtatása”.

After printing this document please sign it with your signature and mail it to the following

address:

Now your registration is being processed by the Educational Office of Hungary. In a few

weeks you will receive a letter which contains your approved application for the selected

programs.
