Universal Computing Resources All lab environments provide: • Adobe Design Premium suite • Black and white printing • Microsoft Office • Web browsers with required plugins for online classes • Computers with Microsoft Windows Additional Resources Each lab environment is designed to support the academic needs of the students it serves. In addition to universal computing resources, the following services are available in select locations: • Adaptive technology • Color printing • Course-related software • Extended operating hours • Group work areas • Image & document scanners • Keyboard recording stations • Laptop and tablet checkout • Large-format printing • Mac workstations • Quiet work areas • Web printing from your personal devices SCL Network The UNT Student Computer Lab (SCL) network provides currently enrolled students with state- of-the-art computing resources in the 13 lab environments listed on the inside map. User Experience The SCL network provides technologically- advanced environments to help you realize your personal and career goals, so you can be competitive in the work force of the future. To ensure a comfortable environment for all students: • Access is provided on a first-come, first- served basis. • A valid UNT ID is usually required to gain access. See individual labs for exceptions. • On-duty staff provide assistance with access to hardware, basic software functions and printing. • We have convenient hours of operation while classes are in session. Printing Credits Currently-enrolled UNT students receive a printing credit each semester which is valid in any SCL. • Print to meet your academic needs. • Check your print credit balance at printing.unt.edu . • Get a fresh print credit at the start of each semester. • Be GREEN – print responsibly.
