Circles of Care News from Hosts Andris and Marion report : Observation for the other Circle hosts. As hosts we have learnt that it is important to acknowledge your Cir- cle members birthdays. The birthday messages we send out are simple and shared via email to all the Circle members. In some cases these messages are a big thing and provide a highlight to take away from the hassles and worries of the virus restrictions plaguing our lives, work, family and friends. So far birthday feedback has been excellent. Maria and Mark report : We have also been sharing birthdays, it’s a great idea. Last week I shared some good news with our circle and asked them to share some good news as well. We heard from Lexie about her knitting machine, Doug about his eldest grandson Tom taking driving lessons (with Grandad) and Margaret sharing good stories about her beautiful horse. Coral and Tim report: Our Circle is going fine. Helped along with some very funny emails from Mary. Paul and Robyn report: Our circle has had two significant birthdays: Brian Crane turned 91 and James Patterson turned 18. What a month.. James and Stuart Patterson both have their L plates, good luck Fiona and Cameron! Ian and Elizabeth report: Our Circle of Care rolls on (as it were) though with less intensity than in the early dark days of the pandemic. With restrictions easing, we are all out and about much more. Danny’s video services are much looked forward to link to our wider community. Liz’s get-togethers for the ladies have continued to be joyous events. Don and Lois report: All our group are doing well. Two have had birthdays and have received a card or a text message. We all miss meeting with our church families, and are looking forward to getting back to our regular Dayboro church services as soon as it's possible. However, we are all enjoying the on-line services, and are glad that they will continue for a while yet. Blessings to all. Ann and Bill report: I am happy to report that our Care Circle friends are happy and healthy and are still weathering the COVID restrictions with good humour. Bill and I are fortunate to meet them, face to face, at Convo Club’s weekly infor mal get-togethers. On Thursday, much to our surprise, Paul arrived on his “motor bike” disability scooter. There is unanimous excitement in the group that Sunday Services are about to recommence. Joy and John report: We stay in touch with our small Circle of Care mostly by email at least weekly. We have chatted on the phone a bit, and enjoyed morning tea with one couple, and a catch-up at a coffee shop with another. We are looking forward to meeting up face-to face’ in the near future, now that restrictions are lifting. CHURCH COUNCIL - GREAT NEWS

As of now, until the next update, we can have a total of 40 in attendance Sunday mornings. We still need to follow the guidelines like cleaning high touch areas, using hand sanitiser, disposable cups etc. We will still offer a video recording for those who decide not to come on a Sunday morning. No date as yet for the resumption of Sunday Space.
