With KingRezin of Syria as an ally, this king ofIsrael came against Jerusalem in war,and besieged King Ahaz of Judah, butcould not overcome him (verse 5). Atthat time, Rezin, king of Syria - heALLY of ISRAEL, fighting with IS-RAEL, against Judah, - recoveredElath to Syria and drove THE EWSfrom Elath. (verse 6).NOTE IT! The first place in the Biblewhere the word JEW is used, we findISRAEL at war against T H E JEWS!

Israels ally, Syria, drove THE JEWSout of the town of Elath!Certainly this proves that the JEWSare a different nation altogether fromISRAEL. It is wrong to call the Jews oftoday Israel. They are not Israel,-they are JTJDAH! And wherever IS-RAEL is today, remember that ISRAELdoes not mean JEW! Whoever the lostten tribes of ISFUEL are today, they arenot Jews! Wherever you see the nameIsrael, or House of Israel, or Sa-maria, or Ephraim, used in pro-phecy, remember this-IT NEVER RE-FERS TO THE JEWS, but to Israel,who was at WAR against the Jews!No place in all the Bible does theterm ISRAEL refer to the JEWS ex-clusively. The term Israel alone, orchildren of Israel, may, and some-times does, include the Jews, where alltwelve tribes are included. Jews are Is-raelites, just as Californians are Ameri-cans. But MOST Israelites, are not Jews,just as most Americans are not Cali-fornians. The Jews are the House of Ju-dah only, A PART of the Israelites. Butwhen these people are spoken of as NA-TIONS rather than as collective indi-viduals, the term Israel never refersto the Jews. House of Israel NEVERmeans Jews. The two tribes at Jeru-salem under the Davidic king are called,merely, the House of JUDAH. But ofEphraim and Manasseh, sons of Joseph,the dyin Israel had said, Let my namebe name%on them. And truly they nowBEAR the name of ISRAEL. It is theTEN tribes that are called ISRAEL.From here on, the tribe of Judah, withBenjamin and a portion of the priests ofthe tribe of Levi, are called JUDAH,-not Israel. The TEN tribes, headedby Ephraim and Manasseh from thistime on are called ISRAEL. They arenot Jews, and never were called Jews!From this time on, the children ofIsrael, twelve tribes in all, are dividedinto TW O NATIONS!

And now, for the first time, theBIRTHRIGHT goes into one nation,ISRAEL, headed by Ephraim-Manas-seh; while the SCEPTRE remains in an-other nation, called the House of JU-DAH. The two phases of the promisesto Abraham now are separated into

Look at themaps in the back of your Bible. Thereyou will see the territory of each nationplainly shown.Judah retained the City of Jerusalem,its capital, and the territory lmown asJudea. Israel occupied the territorynorth of Judea. Samaria became its cap-ital city, and the House of Israel oftenis called LSamarian prophecy. This,too, i s a vital key to understanding ofprophecy. Samaria neuer refers to theJews in prophecy-but always the TENtribes, the House of ISRAEL.

House of Israel NOT JewsWe want to impress, here, that Israeland Judah are not two names fo r thesame nation. They were, and still are,and shall be till the second coming ofChrist, T W O SEPARATE: NATIONS.The House of Judah ALWAYSmeans Jew.This distinction is vital, if we are tounderstand prophecy. Because most so-called Bible students are in ignoranceof this basic distinction, they are un-able rightly to understand prophecy!The next place where the term Jewis mentioned in the Bible, the House ofIsrael had been driven out in captivity,lost from view, and the term appliesONLY to those of the House of JUDAH.There are NO exceptions in the Bible!

But, if the refused and rebelled,they were t o ge punished SEVENTIMES-a duration o 2520 years-inslavery, servitude, and want.The House of Israel now entered-721B. C.- remember this date) -upontheir 2520 long years of national ban-ishment, to last until 1800 A.D.!And BECAUSE the House of Israellost their identifying SIGN-the Sab-bath-the sign which identified them asZSRAELthey utterly LOST THEIRIDENTITY! They lost knowledge evenof their national name. They came tobe considered GENTILES!In Exodus 3 1:12-17 it is recorded thatGod made the Sabbath the covenantSIGN between Him and Israel. At creation God rested on,blessed, made holy, and set apart fo rman the one day for mans rest and wor-ship which could keep him always inthe true worship of the true God-theday that pointed back to CREATION.Creation is the PROOF of God. The Sabbath identified Israelas Gods own people because all othernations long since had departed from itsobservance and gone into idolatry.Israel was the only nation which keptit. Because they rejected this SIGN, theywere driven out, and lost their identity.(Read Ezek. 20: 10-24.)Judah, too, went into captivity largelybecause of Sabbath-rejecting. (See Jer.17.) But those Jews who returned 70years later under Ezra and Nehemiahhad learned their lesson. They becamelegalistically strict Sabbatarians - d-ding so many of their own restrictionsto it that Jesus had to sweep aside thismaze of man-made rules, saying TheSabbath was made for man, and notman for the Sabbath. To this day or-thodox Jews have retained the originalSabbath. And BECAUSE those Jewisheople who descend from the Ezra-Ne-Remiah leadership have retained Godscovenant-identifying SIGN, the worldtoday looks w o n them as ISRAEL!Andyet they actually are only a partof JUDAH!So the Lord removed Israel out ofH is sight . . . So Israel was carried awayout of their own land to Assyria (I1Kings 17:23). They LEFT the land ofSamaria, never yet to return! Gentileswere placed in their homes and cities,(v. 24), and it is these Gentiles whowere known as Samaritans in the timeof Christ.

A more detailed account of the captiv-ity of Israel is found in I1Kings 18: 9-12,and 17:5-18.Now the House of Israel began toabide many days without a king(Hos. 3:4). Since THEY were the peoplewho carried the title Israel, it isTHEY, ot Judah, who must becomeLOST in identity! Now they must losetheir language, their religion, their land.(Isa. 8:17; Isa. 28:11; Isa. 62:2; Isa.40:27; Hos. 2:5-6; Jer. 16:13; Hos.1:8-10).

ISRAEL Never ReturnedThey &d NOT return to Palestinewith the Jews in the days of Ezra and

Nehemiah, as some erroneously believe.Those who returned to rebuild the tem-ple and restore worship in Jerusalem atthat time, 70 years after JUDAITS cap-tivity, were only those of the House ofJudah whom Nebuchadnezzar had car-ried to Babylon.Note well these facts.

1) In 721 B. C. ISRAEL was car-ried away out of their own land to As-syria. (11 Kings 17:23). They weresoon ALL removed - completely.There was none left but the tribe ofJudah only, (I1Kings 1 : 18). JUDAH,only, remained.2) More than 130 years later, Neb-uchadnezzar of Babylon carried theJews-JUDAH-who only remainedin Palestine away to Babylon. So NONEof the House of Israel dwelt in Palestineat the time of this captivity of Judah.

3 ) Those who returned to Palestineto rebuild the temple and restore wor-ship 70 years after Judahs captivity,were ALL of the House of Judah-allJEWS,-ALL of those whom Nebuchad-nezzar had carried away. They return-ed again unto Jerusalem and Judah,every one unto his city. (Ezra 2: 1 .ONLY those of the tribes of Judah,Benjamin and Levi, who constituted thehouse of JUDAH returned at that time(Ezra 1 5). Consequently those in Jeru-salem in the time of Christ were ofthese three tribes, NOT of the House ofISRAEL. And most, if not all, of thoseconverted were of the tribe of Benjamin,as Paul said he was.

The House of Israel became knownas the LOST Ten Tribes! Now knownby ANOTHER name, speaking a differ-ent language!By WHAT name are they known to-day? Whoever they are, wherever theyare, it is THEY, and not the Jews, whoare the BIRTHRIGHT possessors. It isTHEY, not the Jews, who, after the end-ing of their punishment in 1800 A. D.,must inherit the TJNbreakable promisesto Abraham OI national greatness, re-sources, wealth and power. It is MAN-ASSEH who, after 1800 A.D., was to be-come the worlds greatest single nation-Ephraim a great COMMONWEALTHof nations! W h o can they be, today?

Jeremiahs Strange CommissionWhen Israel was driven out to Assy-ria, 721 B. C., Judah had not yet sinnedas a nation. Through Hosea, God said,Though thou, Israel, play the harlot,yet let not Judah offend. (Hos. 4:15).But later her treacherous sister Ju-dah feared not, but went and pIa ed theharlot also, and God finally saix Thebacksliding Israel hath justified herselfmore than treacherous sister Judah.(Jeremiah 3 8-11) .And so, about 130 years after Israelscaptivity, the time came when Goddrove out the Jews, too, in national cap-tivity, and banishment, for their 2520years of national punishment.For this purpose God raised up a veryspecial prophet, whose real call and com-mission few, indeed, understand.This prophet was Jeremiah. He wasone of the three men, only, who weresanctified before they were born. Theother tw o were John the baptist andJesus Christ. (See Jer. 1:5).Jeremiah, when first given his vitalcall and commission, was a young ladabout 17. Before he finally completed it,he was an aged white-haired patriarch.The commission is recorded in Jeremiah1 : l O :See, God says to Jeremiah, I havethis day set thee over the nations andover kingdoms, to root out, and to puLldown, and to destroy, and to throwdown, TO BUILD, AND TO PLANT.There it is! Jeremiah was set overTHE nations-more than one. He wasa Jew, living in Judali. He was set aprophet over Judah - ut not Judahalone. Over THE nations-Judah andISRAEL! He was set over them to dotwo things: to tear down something, andthen to build and to plant something.Jeremiah was used of God as a pro-phet to warn Judali of their sins, andof the coming invasion and captivity atthe hands of Nebuchadnezzer of Baby-lon unless they repented. He was usedas a go-between, a mediary, betweenthe kings of Judah and Nebuchadnezzerthe Chaldean Iring. It is well knownthat Jeremiah was used in destroyingthe kingdom of Judah.

But-note it in your Bible!-he alsowas commissioned to PLANT and toBUILD! What was he to plant andbuild? Why, naturally, that which waspulled down and rooted out of Judah-the THRONE O F DAVID. He was setover TlB KINGDOMS-Israel as wellas Judah. He was used in throwing downthat throne from Judah. Then what washe commissioned to do in ISRAEL? Ah!Note it! The second half of his strangeand little understood commission-toPLANT AND TO BUILD!So far as the world knows, the lastking to sit on that throne of David wasZedekiah of Judali. He was throwndown off it, and the throne rootedout of Judah in the year 586 B.C.-nearly 600 years before Christ!What, then! Did God forget His cov-enant with David? Did the throneCEASE? True, the KINGDOM- heGOVERNMENT of Judah ceased, ashad the kingdom of Israel more than130 years before! But see what elseJeremiah was commissioned to do- oPLANT AND T O BUILD! To plantand re-build among the House of Israel,lo, these many days without a king-among LOST Israel, now supposing lier-self to be GENTILE! Therefore theidentity and location of the re-plantingmust remain hidden to the world untilthis Time of the EN D in which we livetoday!

JUDAH Taken Captive to BabylonIf you will carefully re-read the im-portant Book of Jeremiah, you will no-tice the first few chapters are devoted tohis ministry in WARNING the Jews oftheir im ending invasion and captivitywould not repent.And so, finally, the invasion came.The first siege was in 604 B.C Nebu-chadnezzar marched into Jerusalem,taking it captive. However, he did not a tonce drive out all the Jews. He did noteven drive out their king, Jehoialum,but made him a vassal Iring, the servantof Nebuchadnezzar. As such he contin-ued on his throne, as did two more kingsafter him, ehoiachin, his son, and Zed-ekiah, his brother, until the year 586B. C. (Read II Kings 24).

were killed before his eyes. That therewould be no man to carry on his dy-nasty, all the princes of Judah were kil-led. King Zedeldahs eyes were put out,and he was bound in chains and carriedto Babylon where he died. You will readof all this captivity in I1 Kings 25, I1Chronicles 36, Jeremiah 39, and 52.Jeremiahs Mysterious MovementsAnd now the first part of Jeremiahsstrange commission is accomplished!So far as the world could see, or hasseen since, the dynasty of David hadENDED! No king remained on thethrone. Judahs last king was dead. Allhis sons were dead. All other princes,who might be possible heirs to carry onthe dynasty, had been killed. No pos-sible heir to the throne, so the world thenbelieved, remained alive.But how about the SECOND part ofJeremiahs great commission? Was Godable to keep His covenant with David?Was HE able to PLANT, and REBUILDthat throne?Jeremiah was among these captiveJews. Yet he must remain free to carryout the second part of his mission. So,the captain of the guard took Jeremiah,and said unto him . . . behold, I loosethee this day from the chains whichwere upon thine hand. If it seem goodto thee to come with me into Babylon,come; and I will look well unto thee:but if it seem ill unto thee to come withme into Babylon, forbear; behold all theland is before thee: whither it seem-eth good and convenient for thee to go,thither go . . . So the captain of theguard gave him victuals and a reward(expense money) and let him go. (Jer.4O:l-5).Jeremiah was left FREE, to perform

the second half of his commission.Where did he go? We come now to anamazing, fascinating, thrilling part ofthe Book of Jeremiah which has beenalmost entirely overlooked.Then went Jeremiah unto Gedeliah ..to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among

the people that were left in the land.(6 th verse.)Now this Gedeliah had been made gov-ernor over a remnant of Jews in-theland by the king of Babylon, and sinceJerusalem was destroyed, he had madeMizpah his headquarters. But the kingof Ammon plotted with a Jew namedIshmael to assassinate Gedeliah. Theplot was executed; the governor andpart of the Jews, were slain. Jeremiahwas among the survivors.

Then Ishmael carried away captiveall the residue of the people that werein Mizpah, even the kings daughters,and all the peo le that remained in Miz-the guard (from Babylon) had commit-ted to Gedeliah . . . and carried themaway captives, and departed to go overto the Ammonites. (Jer. 41: O ) .

Ah! Did you catch it? Read that pas-sage again. Among these Jews were thekings daughters! Daughters of Zedek-iah, King of Judah and of Davids dy-nasty!King Zedekiah had died. All his sonshad been killed. All the princes of Ju-dah had been killed. All possible heirsto Davids throne had been killed -except the kings daughters! Now wesee why Jeremiah went to Mizpah!

And in fear of re-prisals from Nebuchadnezzar and theChaldean army, they appealed to theprophet, and said unto Jeremiah theprophet, Let, we beseech thee, o u r sup-plication be accepted before thee, andpray for us unto the Lord thy God . . .that the Lord thy God ma y show us theway wherein we may walk. (Jer.42:2-3).The word of the Lord came to Jere-miah, and He told them not to fear,

that He would protect and deliver them.But the people wanted to flee to Egypt.This the Lord warned them not to do.If they did, the. sword of Nebuchadnez-zar which they feared would overtakethem there, and they would die. (Jer.42: 7-16).

men, and children, and the kingsdaughters . . . and Jeremiah the pro-phet, and Baruch, the son of Neriah(Jeremiahs scribe, or secretary). Sothey came into the land of Egypt.(Jer. 43:5-7).Baruch was Jeremiahs constant com-panion and secretary. It is important tonote here Gods promise of rotectionto him: Thus saith the Lor$ the Godof Israel, unto thee, 0 Baruch. . .Behold,that which I have built I will breakdown, and that which I have plantedI will pluck up, even this whole land . . .but thy life will I give unto thee for aprey in all places whither thou goest.(Jer. 45:2-5). His life, like Jeremiahs,was under divine protection!On reaching Egypt, God warned theseJews again through Jeremiah that theyshould die there by the sword and fam-ine, and none shall return but suchas shall escape! (Jer. 44:12-14). Yes,a few in this company are under divineprotection. A divine mission is to beperformed. They shall ESCAPE! TheLord continues: Yet a small numberthat escape the sword shall return outof the land of Egypt into the land ofJudah. (Jer .44: 28).Jeremiah, Baruch, and the royal seedfor replanting and rebuilding Davidsthrone, all under divine protection, wereto escape, and return to the land of Ju-dah!Then Jeremiah and his company wereto journey to a strange land which theyknew not (Jer. 15: 11 14).Now let Isaiah complete this pro-phecy:For out of Jerusalem shall go fortha remnant, and they that escape out ofMount Zion: the zeal of the Lord ofhosts shall do this And the remnantthat escaped of the house of Judah shallAGAIN TAKE ROOT DOWNWARD,AND BEAR FRUIT UPWARD. (Isa.37:32, 31) .This remnant with Jeremiah - tleast one of the kings daughters-shall

take root downward That is, BE REPLANTED!And then bear fruit upward! BeBUILDED!Has God failed in His solemn coven-ant to keep alive Davids throne? Wherewas this planting and building? Can wefind it in Gods Word?We can! The place and the peopleamong whom the throne was re-estab-lished, are clearly identified!

PART FOURThe Mysterious BreachHERE did Jeremiah go, withBaruch his secretary and one ormore of the royal daughters ofthe king?History stops short at this point. En-lightened students of Bible historyhave long known that the Ten Tribes-called by the name House of ISRAEL-have been lost, and exist today a-mong the Gentile nations, unrecog-nized.Their identity, and location, is one ofthe things God has hidden from the

world. Yet, in this end-time, whenknowledge is to increase, when thewise are to UNDERSTAND (Dan.12:4, lo), we shall find the secret re-vealed thru PROPHECY which couldnot be understood until now.But first, we must now consider amysterious breach that occurred inthe days of Judah, son of Jacob.Judah was the father of twin sons.The first born was royal seed, for thruhim the SCEPTRFC promise was to becarried down. It seems the midwifeknew twins were about to be born. It isrecorded that just before birth one of thetwins put out his hand: and the mid-wife took and bound upon his hand ascarlet thread, saying This came outfirst. But the child drew back hishand, and the other was actually bornirst. The midwife exclaimed, HOWhast thou broken fo r th? this breach beupon thee: (margin, wherefore hastthou made this breach a ainst thee?)meaning Breach. (Gen. 38: 27-30).Why should this strange occurancebe recorded in Bible history, unless thisTherefore his name was ca Tled Pharez,

Yet it never occurred intheir lifetime.Zarah, of the scarlet thread, had fivesons ( I Chron. 2:6 ) . Did a descendantof Zarah finally get the throne, in amanner healing the breach?David, Zedelciah, Christ, all were ofthe PHAREZ branch-none of Zarah.Now consider, 1) the fact of the breachmeans the transfer of the Sceptre fromthe Pharez to the Zarah line. 2) suchtransfer never occurred before KingZedekiah of Judah, who was descendedfrom Pharez. 3) Therefore it had to oc-cur after Zedekiahs death. 4 ) SinceDavids line (Pharez) is t o remain onthe throne thru all generations FOR-EVER, it could only occur at an OVER-TURN of the throne by a marriage be-tween a Pharez heir to the throne andone of the Zarah line, thus healing thebreach.History shows the descendants of Zar-ah became wanderers, journeying to thenorthwest within the confines of theScythian nations, their descendantsjoining the Ten Tribes.But meanwhile, the Pharez-David-Zedekiah line possessed the Sceptre-was HIGH- xalted. The Zarah line,feeling it rightfully should ossess theSceptre, and some day woull, was low,abased-so far as royal power was con-cerned. The Three OverturnsNow consider a much misunderstoodpassage of prophecy:If you will begin reading at the 18thverse of the 21st chapter of Ezekiel, youwill see plainly that the Eternal is heres eaking of the captivity of Judah by&e king of Babylon. And, beginningthe 25th verse, He says: And thou,profane wicked prince of Israel (Zedek-iah), whose day is come, when iniquityshall have an end, Thus saith the LordGod; Remove the diadem, and take offthe crown: (As did happen, thru thefirst half of Jeremiahs commission.)This (the crown) shall not be the same:exalt him that is low, and abase himthat is high. I will overturn, overturn,overturn it: and i t shall be no moreuntil he come whose right it is; and I

will give it him. Let us understand that clearly.Remove the diadem, and take off theCIOWXI.~~ King Zedekiah, of Davids dy-nasty, had the crown. This says it is tobe removed. It was removed. He died inBabylon; his sons and all the nobles ofJudah were killed.This shall not be the same. The dia-dem is not to cease, but a change is totake place-the throne is to be over-turned-another is to wear the crown.Gods PROMISE to David is not to g oby default!Exhalt him that is low, and abasehim hat is high. The diadem, and the throne.Not once, it is to be OVERTURNEDthree times. Overturned by abasingZedekiah, the House of Judah, the Phar-ez line, and exhalting, now, the HouseofIsrael, and one of the Zarah line! Thefirst of the three overturns was accom-plished as the first half of Jeremiahscommission.And it shall be no more. Does thismean the throne- he crown- s tocease to exist? Not at all! How could itbe OVERTURNED three times-that is,TRANSFERRED from one to another,if it ceased to exist? How, after thesethree transfers of the crown, could it begiven to him-Christ-whose right itis, at His second coming, if it ceased al-together to exist? How could he who waslow7 be now exalted by the crown, ifthat crown was to be no more? No, themeaning is, It shall be no more over-turned until the Second Coming ofChrist! And then it shall be once againoverturned, and given to Him! God willnot break his unalterable promise madeto David! Thm every generation Davidshall have a descendant wearing thatcrown! Notice, first, this pro-phetic message is addressed, NOT to Ju-dah, the Jews, but to the House of Israel.It is a Message to give light to the lostTen-Tribed House of ISRAEL in theselatter days!First, Ezekiel is told to speak a riddle,and then a parable. The riddle is foundin verses 3 to 10. Then, beginning verse11, the Eternal explains its meaning.Say now to the rebellious house,God says,-the rebellious house beingTen-Tribed ISRAEL (Ezek. l 2 : 9 ) , towhom Ezekiel is set a prophet (Ezek.2:3; 3: 1, etc.), Know ye not what thesethings mean? tell them . . . and thenthe riddle is clearly explained. A greateagle came to Lebanon and took thehighest branch of the cedar. This is ex-plained to represent King Nebuchadnez-zar of Babylon, who came to Jerusalem,and took captive th e king of Judah. Thecropping of of the cedars young twigsand carrying them to a land o trafficis explained to picture the captivity ofthe kings sons. He took also of the seedof the land,means Nebuchadnezzar tookalso of the people, and the might ofthe land of Judah. He set it as a wi9owtree. And it grew, and became a spread-ing vine o low statxre, means the Jewswere given a covenant whereby, althothey were ruled over by the Chaldeans,they might live in peace and grow. From Gods own explanation wehave learned that the cedar tree repre-sents the nation of Judah; its highestbranch is Judahs Icing. The riddle toldus Nebuchadnezzar took the highestbranch-the King. The parable now tellsus God-not Nebuchadnezzar, but God,will take of the highest branch. Not thebranch, but O F the branch-of Zedek-iahs children. But Nebuchadnezzartook, and killed, all his SONS.God, thru his prophet Jeremiah, isnow going to take O F this highestbranch, and SET IT. (Verse 22).

The twigs of this highestbranch represent the children of I h gZedekiah! Certainly a tender youngtwig, then, represents a DAUGHTER! . . . and will PLANT it. Couldsymbolic language say plainer thisyoung Jewish Princess is to become

A mountainin symbol always represents a NATION.But WHICH nation?In the mountain of the height of IS-RAEL will I plant it, answers the Eter-nal! Davids throne now is to be plantedin ISRAEL, after being thrown downfrom JUDAH! Could language bePLAINER?. . . and it (the tender young twig-the kings daughter) shall bring forthboughs, and bear fruit, and be a good1cedar: Did Davids throne cease witZedekiah of Judah? Did God forget Hiscovenant? NO! Compare this languagewith the passage in Isaiah 37:31-32:the remnant that escaped of the Houseof Judah shall again take root down-ward (be planted) and BEAR FRUITUPWARD. Judah, thehigh tree, having the throne 130 yearsafter Israel had been taken captive, nowis brought down to the low stature ofslavery.. . . have exalted the low tree. Then we find the riversDnieper, Dniester, and the Don.Then, in either ancient or later geo-graphy, we find these waymarks: Dan-au, the Dan-inn, the Dan-aster, the Dan-dari, the Dan-ez, and Don, the Dan, andthe U-don; the Eri-don, down to theDanes, and the Scan-din-navians. Den-mark means Dans Mark.When they came to the British Isles,they set up the waymark names ofDun-dee, Dun-kirk, Dun-bar, Dun-raven, in Scotland, and E-din-burgh isits capital. Ancient Annals of IrelandNow briefly let us consider what isfound in the ancient annals, legends,and history of Ireland, and we shallhave the scene of Jeremiahs planting,and the present location of lost Israel.The real ancient history of Ireland israther vague, now colored with some leg-end. But, beginning verse 14, if they dis-obeyed, God warned them they wouldbecome the slaves of other nations and gointo national punishment- he Birth-right blessings being withheld for a dur-ation of 2520 long years! (verses 18, 21,24, 28).For a while the Israelites went Godsway-but not long. Soon they were a-dopting the customs and ways of thegentile nations around them. After Sol-omons death Israel rejected her king,and Judah split off from Israel in loyaltyto King Rehoboam, thus splitting thetwelve tribes into two nations.The House of Israel sinned first. Andafter nine dynasties beginning withJeroboam, and the reigns of 19 kings(not Davids dynasty, which was nowin Judah) , srael was uprooted from itshomeland of Samaria, and taken cap-tive to Assyria. Then, in the year 721B. C., began the 2520 long years of na-tional banishment from the Birthrightinheritance.It must be emphasized that the Birth-right promises, to be fulfilled only inEphraim and Manasseh, could not beinherited until the end of their 2520-years national punishment. By this2520-year punishment, God punishedthe people for their sins, et kept Hispromises to Abraham. d e romises,then, must be fulfilled only AFTER theduration of this punishment. The Houseof Israel went into Assyrian captivityin 721 B. C. Therefore it could not comeinto the vast national wealth and re-sources of the Birthright until the periodbeginning 2520 years later, or 1800 A.D.

(Gen. 48: 19).In 1800 A.D. the United Kingdomand the United States were small andinsignificant among the earths nations.The United Kingdom consisted only ofthe British Isles, a very small part ofIndia and of Canada and a few littleislands. The United States consistedonly of the original 13 colonies andthree added states. Neither possessed anygreat wealth or power.But beginning in 1800 these two littlenations began to sprout and to growinto vast national riches and power suchas no people ever grew. Soon the UnitedStates grew into the GREATEST singlenation on earth. Britains empire spreadaround the world, until the sun neversets upon her possessions. Canada, Aus-tralia, South Africa, were given domin-ion status-made free and independentnations ruling themselves independentof England-a company, or common-wealth of nations joined together, notby legal government, but solely by thethrone of David!And the British Commonwealth ofNations is the only COMPANY OF NA-TIONS in all earths history. Could weso exactly fulfil the specifications of theBirthright, and not be the birthrightpeople?

The United States Is ManassehSome will say, I can believe that theBritish are Ephraim, but how can theUnited States be Manasseh?From the prophetic blessings passedon by the dying Jacob, it is apparentthat Ephraim and Manasseh were in alarge measure, to inherit the Birthrightjointly; to remain together for a longtime, finally separating. In Genesis 48Jacob first passed the Birthright on tothe two sons of Joseph jointly, speakingof them both together. Then, finally, hespoke of them separtely - Manassehwas to become the single GREAT na-

tion, Ephraim the C O M P A N Y of na-tions.And in his prophecy for these latterdays Jacob said, Joseph is a fruitfulbough, even a f r u i t f u l bough by a well,whose branches run over the wall.(Gen. 49:22). In other words, Joseph-Ephraim and Manasseh jointly and to-gether-was to be a colonizing peoplein this latter day, their colonies branch-ing out from the British Isles aroundthe earth. Thefirst colony which she lost-whichseparated from her-as Manasseh wasfinally to separate from Ephraim-wascalled NEW England, and now theUnited States. Together Ephraim andManasseh grew into a multitude, thenseparated, according to Jacobs proph-etic blessing of Genesis 48.But, so many ask, how can we beManasseh when a large part of our peo-ple have come from many nations be-sides England? The answer is this: Alarge part of Manasseh remained withEphraim until the separation of NEWEngland. But our forefathers were to besifted thru many nations, as corn tlima sieve, yet not a grain to fall to theearth, or be lost. (Amos 9:9). Manasseh was to separ-ate from Ephraim and become thegreatest, wealthiest single nation ofearths history. We alone have fulfilledthis prophecy. Manasseh was, in fact athirteenth tribe. There were twelve or-iginal tribes. Joseph was one of thesetwelve. But when Joseph divided intoTW O tribes and Manasseh separated in-to an independent nation, it became athirteenth tribe. I t started with thirteencolonies.But what about the other tribes ofthe so-called Lost Ten Tribes?While the Birthright was Josephs,andits blessings have come to the BritishCommonwealth of Nations and theUnited States of America, yet the othereight tribes of the House of Israel werealso Gods chosen people, and to a con-siderable extent to share in the materialblessings.
