A consultation meeting for the Joint Area Assembly took place at the UAP Headquarters last July 23, 2016, Saturday. The said meeting was attended by UAP Area VPs Jun Andres, Zdref Dumpa, and Cesar Aljama, National Auditor Eldred Caesar Tan, ED Tony Valdez, Assemblies Chairman Anne Bayot and Awards Chairman (Dilimaner) Rebecca Rellosa.

Last July 18, 2016, Dilimaner Gerard Liso finally announced that his latest documentary entitled “Arkitekturang Filipino” is now out on DVD.

Last July 30, 2016, Dilimaner Stephanie Gilles as Chairman of the UAP Emergency Architects was interviewed by a student named Karima who is formerly studying Masters of Architecture at the University of Toronto. The interview was for Karima’s Thesis regarding Disaster Resilient Design.

The Oathtaking and Induction Ceremonies of New Registered Architects was held at the Plenary Hall, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) last July 30, 2016. With Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker Ar. Jose Thomas Beldia, fuap, 2016 PRC Outstanding Architect of the Year. This prestigious event was also attended by UAP National President Ar. Guillermo Hisancha, fuap, ape car, aa with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Commissioner Ar. Yoly Reyes, fuap, ape car, aa, PRBoard of Architecture Chairman Ar. Robert Sac, fuap, ape car, aa, Philippine Institute of Architects (PIA) officers led by Ar. Delfin Viola and Dilimaners Ar. Armin Sarthou & District A4 Director Florencio Sebastian III of University of the Philippines.

UAPD EXECOM ANNIVERSARY PREPARATION MEETING

Prior to the special event of celebrating UAP Diliman Chapter’s Anniversary and Induction Ball, UAP Diliman Execom had their last minute preparation meeting and venue set-up at 3’oclocl noon of July 30, 2016, in QC Sports Club, Quezon City. Execom present were President Karen Ang, VP Planning Camille Jusi, VP Ops Mark Lingan, Secretary Cristina Subala, Treasurer Tina Puno, Auditor Shelwyn King, Membership Director Genesis Recto, Sports Director Aren Santoss and Secretariat Nanen Anigan.

UAP DILIMAN CHAPTER 37TH ANNIVERSARY & INDUCTION BALL

UAP Dliman Chapter celebrated its 37th Anniversary and Induction Ball with the theme “Relevance and Solidarity” last July 30, 20016 at the QC Sports Club, Quezon City. This special event was graced by UAP NP Guillermo Hisancha, NEVP Nina Bailon Arce and Area VP Jun Andres. Outgoing Chapter President Becca Rellosa turned over responsibilities to Incoming Chapter President Karen Ang. Also in attendance were Past Presidents of Diliman, led by Ar. Prosperidad Luis, fuap, ape car, aa, who also served as UAP National President. Ar. Francis Arnold de Vera, CP of Camanava Hilaga and Ar. Niel Parra, CP of QC Manila also witnessed the ceremonies. 90’s just made a comeback as everyone dressed up on their “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” inspired attire. The UAP Camanava-Hilaga Chapter celebrated their Induction of officers and new members F.Y. 2016-2017 last August 2, 2016 at ELJ Towers ABS-CBN. The turnover of gavel was administered by District Director Area A4 and Dilimaner Florencio Sebastian III. The event was also graced by UAP Diliman Chapter President Karen Kaye Ang.

MEETING FOR PHOTOSHOP WORKSHOP

Last August 3, 2016, UAPD Chapter President Karen Ang and Sports Director Aren Santos had a meeting with Mr. Cris Malinay, the lecturer for the upcoming Photoshop Workshop of Diliman Chapter on September. They talked about the schedule which would be a 3-consecutive Saturdays of the month and the possible lesson plan and lecture content. The workshop series will be open to dilimaners and also to UP Students.







COMMITTEE ON AWARDS MEETING

The UAP Awards Committee led by Chairman Rebecca Rellosa had their meeting at the UAP Headquarters last August 6, 2016. This was also attended by Dilimaner Nadine Dizon-Reyes.
