Strength properties andheat dissipation

The circular ribbing on the housing body gives the SNC housing excellent form stability and rigidity.

X-shaped support

Strengthen the bearing seat substructure and support the construction at a critical point.


Connection bolts

The bolt diameter is larger than on comparable housings. This enables higher radial loads to act on the housing cap.

Mounting holes

The holes incorporated into the underside of the housing foot

simplify exact alignment of the units in series production.


Grease drain hole

Located opposite the lubricating fitting

It ensures that excess greasefrom inside the housing can escapeDrain holes are sealed with

threaded plugs (metal) when delivered.

The circular edge prevents the penetration of moisture at the interface between the upper and lower section.


Upper and lower sectionmarkingThe code numbers imprinted on the side of the housing body are used to correctlyassign the upper and lower section. When mounting several housings, the upper and lower sections must never be exchanged as they are matched during production.


Connection options

Several marking points are cast into the upper sections of the housings. If

necessary, these can be used for connecting holes for measuring

sensors, e.g. vibration pickups or temperature sensors.

Design: performance through simplicity

• Bearing comprised of a minimum number of items, thanks to suppressed shouldered sections.

Roller guidance is ensured by the races and cages only

• The more parts there are in a bearing, the more there are friction points and parameters to be controlled: stacked or cumulated tolerance,thermal expansion of the items in operation…

More complex manufacturing, less safe performance and reliability.
