Depth of field refers to the range of distance that appears acceptably sharp. It varies depending on camera type, aperture and focusing distance, although print size and viewing distance can also influence our perception of depth of field.

Automatic Exposure

Rule of thirds The rule of thirds is a guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images such as paintings, photographs and designs. The guideline proposes that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections

Complementary Colours

Complementary colors are pairs of colours that are of opposite hue in some color model.

Analogous coloursAnalogous colours are colours that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. Some examples are green, yellow green, and yellow or red, red violet and violet. Analogous colour schemes are often found in nature and are pleasing to the eye.
