PAYING ATTENTION
Name Recall
1. Focus on the person in front of you.– While shaking hands with a new
person, stop and pay close attention to him/her
– Say to yourself, “STOP, I want to remember this person’s name”

2. Look at the person’s face.– Say to yourself, “Look at this
interesting face”– Look at the name tag if available
