Materials: The Truth or Dare Wheel (attached in the document as
Handout 1) and Cards (attached in the document as Handout 2)
Procedure:
1. Everybody sits in a circle 2. Each student gets a chance to spin the Truth or Dare Wheel. 3. The Holiday in which the arrow lands, is the topic for the
challenges. 4. Student chooses truth or dare. If he or she chooses Truth, he
or she must answer the question on the truth card for that holiday. If he or she chooses dare, then he or she must perform the feat on the dare card.
5. Whoever passes through all of the holidays completing all of the challenges wins.

their most known places.
Content: Landmarks, names of parks, museums, etc. Phrases such

Procedure:
1. Students make groups according to the province they’re from. 2. Each group goes to the front, names their province, and hangs
the map on the wall. 3. Using the landmark cards with Velcro, they stick the most
important landmarks in the map and talk about them: where they’re located, what you can do there, why it is so popular, etc.

Function: Discussing recycling as a way to prevent pollution
Content: Different types of waste, different types of bins.

Materials: Recycling bins (example on Handout 5), toy trash
(attached in the document as Handout 6)
Procedure:
1. Bins are placed in order of size, starting with the biggest one. 2. One of the students, per turn, goes to the front and grabs a
pile of trash. 3. He or she takes 10 steps away from the bin. 4. Students select a piece of toy trash, describe which type it is
and throw it in the corresponding bin 5. If the student scores, he repeats the sentence “(this type of
trash, ie. Paper) goes into the (color) bin”. The student may throw the next piece of toy trash until he or she finishes with the pile and then gets a reward, or fails.
6. If the student fails, another student may come and try. 7. A final prize is given to the one who scored the most. 8. This activity can be used as an introduction to the subject of
environment and recycling.
