The Use of Adverbial Clauses

An adverbial clause is a clause that has an adverb-like function in modifying another clause. It is also a dependent clause that does the same job as an adverb or an adverb phrase. Most adverbial clauses can be recognized because they are introduced by a particular word or phrase, such as when, where, why, how, because, as, though, in order that. Adverbial clauses are usually used to indicate place, time, cause, purpose, concession and condition.

Students make some sentences which include Adverbial clauses under the guidance of the teacher.
