Nomination of the following IR personnel is being considered by Board to attend thetraining for the supply of 12 nos. Ballast Regulating Machines (BRMs) at M/s Plasser &Theurer, Austria from 28.09.2015 to 09.10.2015 against Contract No. 2011ITrack-III/MC/5:-

2. All the above officers may be directed to Login in www.reis.railnet.gov.in through theirUnique ID and fill-up the Training Form in the head 'Training'. Unique ID and Passwordare same, unless modified by the official himself.

3. The officers indicated above may also be directed to complete the pre-departureformalities for the training. For this purpose, online filled up passport form, visa formetc. may be submitted to US/Protocol, Railway Board, Room No. 1, Rail Bhawan.Guidelines for the submission of passport are attached as Annexure-I.

4. However, the officers may be directed to undertake the training only after the formalapproval of the competent authority is conveyed to them .

Annexure-I

Stepsfor submissionof passport form (official) online:

1. Fortraining purposesonly OFFICIAL PASSPORTwould be issued.

2. Thepassport form isto be submitted 'online'and hard copy submitted inProtocol office/Railway Board.

3. Forthispurpose the Officers may log on to link'Passportseva'and click onRegisterNow/New User.

4. Theform would open and officers are requested to click on the option'CPVDelhi" and not Passportoffice.

5. Submit the form online and print out the same. Hard copy isto be submitted inProtocol office/Railway Board.

6. Theform alongwith 6 passport sizephotographs, in white background, faceforward, not more than 6months old isto be sent to Railway Board.

7. If the officer has an official/diplomatic passport or personal passport the sameshould also be sent to the Protocol Office. Thepersonal passport would be keptin safe custody by the Protocol office for issueof official passport and the samemay be collected on return of the official passport. Valid official passportsmaybe advised to Protocol Office accordingly.

8. If an officer had applied for official/personal passport at any time earlier inconnection with any training/visit, but the passport was not collected/requireddue to various circumstances, it is imperative the officer indicates the same inthe form i.e. the appropriate column should be indicated cs'Yes.

9. Pleasefill the form fully and correctly. Any queries in this regard may be clarifiedfrom Protocol Dte.-phone no. 011-23389044 and railway no. 43238.
